I am really starting to like James, I really am. I had no clue who he was before the show but I kind of maybe want to look into his music.

Plus he seems so nice and cute too!

We are having some heavy rain so my satellite went out, anyone remember Meryl & Maks score?

Surprised by who went home, not a Cody fan but he is a better dancer than Nene, would have thought he had a better fan base.

Wow, sorry it took so long my wifi and cellular both went down for a moment. M&M received a 36..4X9.

BTW.. I was only a little surprised, that Cody was eliminate. He definitely isn't one of the judges favorites.

At the begining of the season they said they would judge her the same but they haven't. I wanted to strangle Carrie Ann, she takes a point off when their toe comes off the floor but tonight there were lifts. Amy may be an inspiration but she is not that good a dancer, that was not a good waltz, footwork should still count. It's not fair to the other dancers for her to get scored so high for such an average dance.

I thought I was the only one who thought that way! Amy seems like a wonderful person, and what she has overcome is truly inspirational, but that was NOT a waltz! They were in hold for about 10 seconds, and the rest was twirls,lifts, and poses. I can't believe her scores tonight.
I hope that NeNe gets voted out next week just because she was unbearably rude to Tony!

Maks and. Meryl are Magical! There seems to be a genuine affection between them...

Maybe it is because he can't keep his hand or lips off of her. He is always hugging, touching and kissing her. I think he is really digging her. Has anyone else noticed this?

I'm glad that droopy-drawers Cody went home. NeNe can be next as far as I'm concerned. She kept jabbering about Tony's attitude - of which I saw none - but she was downright hateful to him.

I also thought Derek and his partner were way over scored. Very little footwork, and what they did do was obviously being shrouded by the fog.

I think Carrie Ann has finally turned into Paula Abdul. What a nutter. By any chance is she pregnant? She looked rather thick through her middle this evening. Perhaps it was her outfit.

Gee, I just went through and reread what I wrote, and I sound so mean. I have to have a colonoscopy tomorrow, and between the prep and not being able to eat today, I feel like taking a whack at someone. Anyone.

I think you are spot on. I also thought Carrie Ann looked thick when she stood up and leaned over the desk.

Loved the whole show, what took them so long to do Disney? Very shocked at Cody leaving, but not as shocked as Candace. Amy and Derek were just beautiful, really looked their parts. And loved Mark as the crab. James was good, but not that great. Nene made a perfect Cruella, wonder what was up with her tears? Maybe a bad edit, maybe she was teasing Tony?

Voting for dear Charlie tonight. His scores were not so great.

I actually liked Charlie's dance the most tonight. Followed by Val and Danica. Maks and Meryl were cute. I did not love Peta and James, the music was too chopped up and just didn't care for the dance itself, however I do like them and hope he is around for a while longer. Didn't like the faces Drew was making either.

I was really surprised that Cody's fans didn't save him. I thought for sure it would be Candace. Not liking Nene much after her attitude with Tony - he seemed upset upstairs though and said that is not how they are together at all.

Also not a fan of the guest judges and in particular did not like Donny. So many comments about himself, and the pauses before he'd lift his paddle; like everyone was anticipating his scores and couldn't wait to hear him.

My favorite dance tonight? The little bit with Charlie and the animated penguins!

The judging was nutty tonight. Agree with most of what has already been said here.

Nene was a brat in that rehearsal footage. Also her dance this week was good but she got the same score as Meryl? Um, okay. I'd be fine if she went home next week. I think it will come down to her, Candace or Drew next week and I'd rather another week of Candace and Drew.

I was not excited about Maks and Meryl dancing to the Jungle Book as it is one of my least favorite Disney movies and I am not a huge fan of the songs. Then I saw Maks' costume and I thought it was the best idea ever.

There is a lot about Carrie Ann that I don't like but I think my LEAST favorite of her bag of inane tricks is her girlish squeal followed by her "Come give me a hug!" drama when she feels like someone has had a breakthrough. I liked Danica's dance but wanted to throw something at the TV when Carrie Ann went into her "give me a hug" routine.

As goofy as it was, I really loved Candace and Marks dance. I couldn't stop smiling. Since we no longer seem to have to issue scores based on actual steps or technique, I give them my high score for the week!

The judging has definitely been all over the place this season. Len giving out a Disney dreams do come true 10? Meryl and Maks dance with no mistakes and get a lower score than Charlie who dropped his cane and Amy who did an "illegal" lift? I don't get it.

I love Meryl and Maks this season though. I always loved Maks and was a little worried that Meryl would be too quiet and shy for him but it's the perfect fit. I hope they get to dance the Argentine Tango together even though she already danced it with Val. The rumba should be pretty impressive too!

I got the feeling the songs were picked for them, i.e. Maks saying "We got I Wanna Be Like You" and then he says it's weird because he doesn't look like Mowgli and that Meryl looks more like Mowgli than he does. Didn't sound like they picked it themselves. Also, Maks shaved to look more boyish and he looks better with the facial hair for sure.

I think for the most part they gave them songs and characters that each pair could look like or get into character. We have always said that Derek is like a living Ken doll, and it was so funny to see him dressed exactly like our Prince Charming doll!

We couldn't figure out who James was, since Elsa doesn't have a man, so we decided he was a tree (brown/green outfit).

Nene had a meltdown.. plain and simple. It's halfway through the competition and it was bound to happen. I would bet good money that both of them resolved the problem shortly afterwards.

But, DWTS only shows the dramatic parts in the clip so that they have the ability to say "will their problem hurt their dance?" Knowing full well that there's not a problem anymore.

Nene was embarrassed over her actions in the ciip and probably upset that they didn't show the resolution/apology. That's why she was crying. You could tell everything was okay by the way Tony was acting. When he danced with Kate and they had a blowout, he did not act like that afterwards.

Nene's clip package next week will talk about how they had already made up and she apologized. Unfortunately, it will be too late for the voting audience as most people hate her from what was shown in this weeks clip.

I wasn't really thrilled with any of the dances this week. I really hope Maks wins, he deserves it.

I hate it anytime they make Tony look bad. He seems like such a sweetheart. If I were ever to go on the show,Tony would be one of my first choices for a partner because of how caring and patient he has seemed every season. I hate how they edited it because I have no doubt that those were probably the only 3 minutes that those two had any tension, but they had to show that to try and create some drama.


I have no problem with Cody being gone. He did absolutely nothing for me. I also wasn't a fan of his partner. So long, Cody.

If I had it my way, Charlie would be next and then Meryl. I won't have it my way, though, and they will both be in the finals. I do wonder who will be the next to go.

I think that's just part of his new "personae" since he's come back. He would have done that no matter who his partner had been.
