This seems different...Maks is all warm and fuzzy.

I think Maks, as well as most of the other male pro's are quite touchy feely with their partners. They always stand behind their partner at the judges table, put their arm around them. Hug them when they get positive feedback etc. That being said, I still think Maks has a deeper affection for Meryl. He came back this season and has a great celebrity to work with. I watched an interview he did and he said "as far as romantic connection...(long pause)...I truly care for that person". "The fact that she is a pro ice dancer makes a world of difference, let's say that it's my turn to get one."

I just want to say that all-in-all I enjoyed this week's dancing, as well as the theme....I also want to point out [mebbe this was brought up already] that everyone seems to feel it's okay to take shots at Maks, and now, even Erin Andrews put in her dig...WTH?

I don't think Erin is doing the teasing in a mean way. I see it as poking fun at a friend.

Funny, that's what I was going to say. I think the teasing and banter has become a part of the show.

I thought Candace was much better this week. I am so old. I saw the name Redfoo and still didn't have a clue.

I thought when they cut the show to one night a week, it made the show a lot tighter.

Now, it seems, they are adding all the unnecessary fluff back in. A fourth guest judge, 2 minutes of interviews about how hard it is for the stars to do the show. And now this unnecessary dance by Macy's dancers.

Even though I am looking forward to seeing Ricky Martin next week they need to eliminate the 4th judge - it is really messing with the scoring and adds little to no value for me.

I am happy with the new band though.

How on the world can Danica be in jeopardy when she had an almost perfect score last week and is leading so far this week? She must not be getting any fan votes. I really, really hope she isn't a shocking elimination- several others deserve to go home before her.

The fan vote, popularity contest aspect of the show bothers me sometimes...
