They were. Everyone got at least 2 10's except for poor Ingo who received none. Now, not saying that he deserved a 10, but they certainly gave them to dances that I didn't feel were deserving, ether.

I thought it had a lot of gymnastics in it . That may just be Mark choreographing the routine for her. FTR, I liked it.

I liked Mark & Aly's dance also - for once, I was drawn to watching her instead of him. I think she's really come out of her shell these last couple of weeks, something I didn't think Shawn Johnson ever did.

I do wish they'd get some better singers, though. They mangled "One More Night" so badly last night I had to listen to it over and over after the show finished to purge their version from my brain.

Does anyone else think that Zendaya pulled the short straw with her music selection? The judges complained that it her quickstep was too fast. What else was Val supposed to do with music that was that fast? I also think that Len missed the mark in judging Aly and Mark's Afro-Jazz that they should have been closer together. If that's true, then he was deducting points for something Mark did, not how Aly danced.

Oh and ick. Zendaya's hip hop was to Chris Brown. I can't stand that man.

I also think Ali did better then Mark in the Afro Jazzz. The few times I looked at him his face was so over the top that I had a hard time looking at him. I also think he based mich of that dance on what Derek and he did with Shawn last year. i wonder if that dance is the reason Afro Jazz was added as a dance this year?

They also dressed her body better this week then they have done all season. The girl is all muscle, and the clothes they have put her in make her look heavy and boxy. Not fair, especially for such a young pretty girl.

It might have sampled some gymnastics but it wasn't a gymnastics routine. If you contrast that to Zendaya who has trained in hip hop since she was a child and then got a hip hop dance, it is easy to see that Zendaya did have more of an advantage. I think of it much like if John Travolta were to be on the show. Would he already be at an advantage since he has had dance training? Sure. But, if he then had to do a disco routine, it would be a major advantage for him. Aly might incorporate some gymnastics in her routines, but they aren't straight gymnastics routines. Zendaya is trained in hip hop but didn't have a straight hip hop routine... until last night. She had the advantage for sure in that situation. But, to be completely fair, it was the fans who gave her that advantage and not the producers.

I wasn't sure what they wanted with that quickstep, either. Had Val slowed it down, they would have been in trouble for not staying with the music. Had he taken out some of the moves that make it look more frantic, he would have been criticized for not having enough content. The music was the problem and I do feel that they did the best with what they were given.

Absolutely! That girl is rock solid. She can probably bench and squat more than Mark or Derek. Unfortunately, the costumes she has been wearing were not at all flattering and made her look fat. She is far from fat. I liked the Afrojazz costume because it did a much better job of highlighting her true body type.

I thought the scoring was a bit all over the place last night. Here are my thoughts:

Kellie & Derek - Love the Argentine Tango. That move behind the screen where she had to bend her back so far forward was amazing. Definitely deserved that score! I didn't even notice Kelly in the Flamenco. At all. He could have been dancing alone. I know that the style of dance does highlight the man but I still felt that dance was about him and not her, which was a shame.

Ingo & Kym - I think he has improved a lot but he should be the one going home tonight. I thought the Charleston was better than the Samba. His hip thrusts were a bit much.

Aly & Mark - I think she has improved a ton too, but that Rumba did not deserve a perfect 30. Especially when you compare it to Kellie and Derek's performance in that round. I would have given her a 9. The AfroJazz was super impressive and I agree with the others that said Mark's over the top faces made it hard to watch him!

Jacoby and Karina - I thought their Argentine Tango was great but again, not perfect score great. I thought the mood was perfect and he was good but Karina made him look good. Like Aly and Mark in the first round, I would have given a 9. The Lindy Hop was great as I expected based on how he did with the Jive.

Zendaya & Val - The Quickstep may be my least favorite dance anyway because I feel like it almost always looks like someone is being dragged around the floor. I had high hopes for theirs because she can move so fast but this was not great. I thought their hip hop was fantastic.

When we got to the end of the night and they said Aly and Jacoby were tied in the lead, I thought "How did that happen?" I wonder if Aly does not have a lot of fan votes and they are overscoring her to keep her around? This is a few weeks in a row where I think she has been overscored and I actually really like her.

Also, does anyone know what next week's dances will be? Val and Zendaya have not had to Rumba yet and I am wondering if they are just going to let them skip that because she is 16 or if she is going to have to do it in the finals(if they make it) which will be kind of a bummer.

So, we're going to have a 4-person finals? The semi-finals usually has four and the finals has three. I don't know what that will mean since the judges usually score all the couples the same. It could mean that a dancer like Jacoby could win over the rest depending on his fan base .

Tom mentioned something about there being an extra elimination, so more dancing that nite. Does anyone know if there is a show on Monday? They might have had to squish Monday's elimination onto Tues nite.

This could also mean that the judges get more of a vote than the audience. So, the possibility of another "Bristol Palin places third over a better dancer," doesn't happen this year. The top three dancers: Kelli, Ali & Zendaya are really close in ability.

A lot of it also rests on the Freestyle dance. As long as none of them do a Marie Osmond "Scary Doll" dance, it should/could be any of the three of them winning. (IMO.)

The Flamenco is a man's dance, the woman's job is to present him. I don't remember who did it last year but this one was way better.

I've seen the Flamenco performed and the woman wasn't totally eclipsed by her partner, which was the case here. Maybe he was giving her a break, or maybe she wasn't able to hold her own and he reduced her part-although I have a hard time believing that given her talent.

If a dance style showcases a certain gender, than the pro shouldn't be the one being showcased! He was goooood, though.

My guess is they think more people will watch. I think the ratings have been down this season. I do wish they had said what was going to happen. Will they all get to do a freestyle? They did say they would have extra people like they did in last seasons finals. I think they may do an instant dance, which I really don't like that much. I think the final may be to gimmicky, I'd much rather see them do two well rehearsed dances, like they did this week.

In the end it will be the freestye that decides it. I think it will be either Kellie or Zendays.
