That was drama. Carlos was losing his stuff up there.
He was probably more upset at the thought that Alexa may be the one to go home.

A group of us were with an acting couple once, where we were meeting to go out to eat after they had (separate) auditions that afternoon. We met at in the hallway of the casting office. The husband had gone first. He had been in with the casting director for a really long time. (Whereas most people were in & out right away, after they performed their piece.) So, even though he hadn't said much when he came back out, we knew he did a really great job at his audition. Plus, he already knew the casting director, had been cast by her before a few times, so they may have had other stuff to chat about.
It was finally her turn in the room with the casting director. We were sitting in the hallway, laughing and joking about stuff, waiting for her. The mood was really light. Then the husband suddenly looks down, shakes his head in frustration and says how he hopes, hopes, hopes, that she does a great job. Otherwise, even though HE did so well and is so happy about his audition, it will be an emotional nightmare later if she doesn't do well. He will have to emotionally take care of her and hear about it all night when they get home. How she should have done this differently, done that differently, or be re-thinking what the casting director said to her and what that meant.

We realized that sometimes it is really rough being part of a double show biz couple.

And that's not the only time I've witnessed stories like that.
