Hate is a strong word. I don't hate Mark, but I don't enjoy watching him dance. I think he overreacts and overexaggerates every single movement. It's like watching a monkey on steroids. No, an overly hyper monkey on steroids.

Were they doing that again on Monday and last night? It's a little too obvious that something is going on between them. I know people speculate about different pairs throughtout every season but these two there is no denying.

Perfect ! While I don't think he'll totally "Anna" Shawn, I do think that it will be hard for Mark to resist making it more about him and less about her. I think he'll be excited to have Shawn to dance with again.

He did say that! Kelly and Val, really it's getting to the point of nausea for me. We get it, you're doing the nasty after rehearsal or maybe even during. Whatever, just keep it clean for the show please. Ick.

I think he'll be excited to dance with Shawn again too. But he is exactly like the pp's said...way too exagerrated with his movements and particularly his facial expressions. It's comical! The difference between he and Derek is that Derek's facial expressions match the mood of his dance AND his choreography is superior.

Sabrina was my least favorite of the remaining stars, so I wasn't upset to see her go. Unfortunately, that means that Louis also has to go and I just adore him. Fact is, she doesn't have the fan base. That's why she left when she did the first time around and (putting non my conspiracy theorist tin foil hat here) I really don't believe she was the one that the fans voted in over Carson and Kyle.


I was absolutely SHOCKED when Tony and Melissa gave Shawn and Derek the Tago Paso dance. As soon as they showed the various option, I thought, "Derek is probably salivating over the idea of getting the Tango/Paso Doble dance." Paso Doble is easily the dance he is most gifted in when it comes to choreographing. Plus, Paso and Tango are similar enough that it won't be too hard to transition. I figured that there was no way he would get any dance combo with the Paso. When he ended up with Paso/Tango, I was thrilled. Too bad he will only get to choreograph it and not dance it, though.

Gee, I hope not. The reason I voted for him to win his season was because he improved so much and for his fun personality. I don't think he's anywhere near to being the best or most entertaining dancer and I don't consider "most improved" as an option this season. FTR, you are not alone in thinking that Emmitt will continue to do well. Louie said this morning that he thought it was going to Shawn and Emmitt head to head at the end.

That was the season we started watching, because Shawn is from Iowa. Been watching ever since!

I agree with your choices. Emmitt can dance, but he has his nitch - not so great all-around.

I give Kirstie Alley credit, she is 60 years old. But I don't think she deserves to win.

Kelly and Val sure look like an item, but she's 10 years older than him. I guess as long as they're both single a fling doesn't hurt anyone.

One last thought, Sabrina was robbed. Too bad she doesn't have that fan base because she danced well.

Shawn is such a good dancer, I bet he will be glad to get someone who is only capable of shimmies.

I have heard but can't actually confirm that Kelly at least had/has a serious boyfriend. If she did when she started, if he were anything like MY hub, he'd have beaten Val to a pulp then walked out!

You gals do know she's a soap opera actress who rolls around in bed acting sexy & steamy all the time. This is just acting WORK for her. I doubt there is anything real going on. Her fans want to see some steamy romance heating up.

I don't believe this romance any more than I believe that Kristen Stewart & Rob Pattinson are back together. They all do what they do to keep their fan base watching them.
