Official Dancing with the Stars - All Stars

You gals do know she's a soap opera actress who rolls around in bed acting sexy & steamy all the time. This is just acting WORK for her. I doubt there is anything real going on. Her fans want to see some steamy romance heating up.

I don't believe this romance any more than I believe that Kristen Stewart & Rob Pattinson are back together. They all do what they do to keep their fan base watching them. :p

:thumbsup2

That's all well and good when it comes to the choreography of the actual dance however they are all over each other during rehearsals and the interviews with Brooke etc... if anything she is "acting" just a little too often for me to believe it is just because she is a soap opera actress. What does she do when she sees her male co-stars on the street, make out with them because one of her fans would expect her to???

Well then she's VERY good at playing the skanky dance partner, good job Kelly!;)

I agree with you Dee. The pawing and nuzzling is beyond the dance floor or even in front of Brooke. I don't think she's acting and if she is I feel really sorry for Val since the behavior is as much him as it is her and he's NOT a Soap Opera star or an actor.

I agree but if it is all for ratings, I'm sure they're aware the cameras are rolling. However, it's too much. The way they grope and rub all over each other... Plus Val seems pretty enamoured with her girls up top. For the first couple of rehearsals, he couldn't take his eyes off of them.:rolleyes1 Overall, they are just too touchy feely.

Yup she gets a free pass because she's a soap star and just flirting. But if it were a man doing it with a serious girlfriend at home, this board would be up in arms calling him a scumbag lowlife loser. :lmao:

And how is it that you and other people know that they are "all over each other during rehearsals and the interviews?" Oh, that's right, because they are being FILMED on camera for people to SEE.

FILMED = Soap Opera Actress playing it up for her fans. Val = man who doesn't mind getting pawed, whether real or an act.

Again, with Brooke, in front of the cameras.

Val is a performer, too.

Again, they are aware of the cameras. And as you said, it's a too much. So much that it draws attention to them. . . which is what they want.

Since Mark & Derek have been best friends since they were young, and Mark has a good work ethic, we know he won't pull an "Anna" on Shawn. :thumbsup2

I'm in the dark here......what does pulled an "Anna" mean? I mean, I know who Anna is, but what happened?

Scroll all the way down to the first post of this thread. There is a link and an explanation. :) The explanation has been made a Sticky, as so many of us hate Anna because of what she pulled  - and we knew people would ask about it.

Well maybe we are being bamboozled, but I like to think of her as a two-timing, cradle-robbing skank-biscuit. Wait ... is that the character she plays on her Soap?

Thanks! I've been watching DWTS since Season 2 and didn't know about that. I had to Google to see who Mark was. I still barely remember him. But I have never been a big Anna fan - just something about her that I didn't like. Now I have a reason!

Well we really should have seen this coming.... Susan Lucci showed us what those desperate soap stars are really like...... after all it is a mirror ball trophy.

I agree that some of it may be played for the camera (Val & Kelly), but what about the comment Louie made in rehearsal - "Get a room" ?

We didn't see anything in the filming that caused him to say that, so obviously they were being very blatant during rehearsal without the cameras rolling prompting Louie to say that... :confused3

Ok, I scrolled to first post and clicked the link for the "Anna" situation, but have a question. It all goes back to the season when she screwed over Lacey and Mark. Mark who? Found the Youtube on this, it was the Iron Chef guy...

Also, is it true Anna and her husband Jonathan are getting divorced? I just saw them on Shark Tank recently..

Sorry, I guess our "Sticky" needs more info. For those of us who know the story and how poor Mark Dacascos was eliminated, it is permanently seared into our brains. :lmao: It's easy to skip details for those who don't know the story.

Here is a little blurb on Mark Dacascos, of Iron Chef America:
http://www.buddytv.com/articles/dancing-with-the-stars/dancing-with-the-stars-spotlig-30973.aspx

Here is him talking about how he thinks he would get cut:
http://www.extratv.com/2009/11/03/dwts-mark-dacascos-thinks-hell-be-eliminated/

The worst part was, when he did get cut and everyone in the audience booed, they did a close-up on Anna and she just shrugged & made a face, like she didn't care. :sad2: Had that self-serving narcissist :snooty: felt even a speck of genuine remorse for what she did to Mark, or even faked it, we might have been somewhat forgiving.

If your fellow group dancers are too busy "acting" to serve themselves, instead of rehearsing for the group dance, I'd say something, too. (I've been with co-workers who spend more time on their cellphones than concentrating on work, and boy, do I want to say something other than, "We really need to focus on this, guys." :headache:  ) But, Louie is also too much of a pro to give their act away on camera. So, he said something appropriate to tell them to knock it off.

....guys, in fairness to those DWTS castmembers:

....they are participating in this too! :thumbsup2

Snipped from page:

"The Disney/ABC Television Group also announced that it will designate Monday, November 5, 2012 as a "Day of Giving" across network and syndicated programming spanning News, Daytime, Primetime and Late-Night, encouraging the tens of millions of viewers engaged throughout the day to help those impacted by Hurricane Sandy.

In commenting on the wide-reaching response to the devastating storm, Anne Sweeney, co-chair, Disney Media Networks and president, Disney-ABC Television Group, said: "The effects of Hurricane Sandy have impacted millions of people across the entire North East, including many of our co-workers, friends and families. This unprecedented devastation demanded an unprecedented response, so our team came up with the 'Day of Giving.' This coordinated effort between network and syndicated programming spanning News, Daytime, Primetime and Late-Night will reach tens of millions of viewers with a specific call to action& to do what Americans do best, and pull together in support of those who are suffering. I'm incredibly proud of the team and all of our programs for this amazing response."

"Good Morning America" will start the "Day of Giving" by dedicating the entire 8:00 a.m. hour to raising money for Sandy Relief efforts. ABC News anchors, reporters and employees will band together to encourage people to donate to the American Red Cross.

The torch will pass to "LIVE with Kelly and Michael," where the show will integrate "Day of Giving" messaging into their highly anticipated Halloween episode (which was moved due to the impact of the storm).

The ladies of "The View" will discuss the "Day of Giving" and encourage their audience to donate to the American Red Cross relief efforts, and "The Chew" will do the same.

"Katie," which dedicated the entire hour on Wednesday, October 31 to Hurricane Sandy, will take up the mantle of the "Day of Giving" and engage viewers in these relief efforts as well.

The ABC Owned Stations and local ABC affiliates will integrate "Day of Giving" messaging into their local news throughout the day, calling on their local communities to help those impacted by the storm.

In primetime, Dancing with the Stars plans to dedicate sections of the live show to the day's theme. "Nightline" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live" will also spread the word.

Kimmel, which is shooting in Brooklyn, N.Y., this week and had to cancel Monday's taping because of the storm, will conclude the "Day of Giving" with special messages and calls to action."

Great! :thumbsup2 :yay: :dance3:

Tell us how you really feel, Robin! FWIW, I totally agree. Acting or not, they're just too touchy-feely for my liking. :crazy2:

Why do they keep dressing Emmitt in weird colors? :confused3 He's in all pink tonight. 2 weeks ago he was in all orange-red.
