Congratulations to the Gators also. All the games today, except 1, went the way I wanted. I was really pulling for Auburn. Gotta say, they played LSU better than I thought they would. That was a tough loss, but the Auburn fans should be proud of the way the team played today.

I agree. If they had a better QB, they would be nearly unbeatable. Todd just doesn't have the arm strength for the big throws. But their defense is unbelievable.

Being a Bama fan, as yourself, can we really say anything about Auburn's quarterback? JPW doesn't have that great of an arm for big throws either.

Arm Strength is not JPW's problem, he usually over throws his target. Todd's throws were not. He was heaving it, and it looked like a rainbow. JPW's are bullets. He actually needs more air under them. But, you know he now holds every passing record we have, and we ahve had some good QBs. So he must not be too bad.

I was watching the game from the Contemporary Resort. I was very bummed today. We played much better than I thought we would. I sure wish we hadn't killed their first quarterback. That #12 needs to sit the bench more. Ug.

I agree. Todd has no zip on the football. By the time the football gets to the receiver, the defensive back knows where to go to intercept. Plus, I am not a fan of his happy feet!

I would have felt bad for them, except they were Vol's.

Seriously, though, my oldest DD still has this misguided desire to attend FSU.

I took her to the Wake Forest/FSU game on Saturday.

A weird experience.

First, there were a lot of empty seats in the stands at the beginning of the game.

You never see that in Gainesville.

Then, folks started leaving early in the fourth quarter. The game (if you want to call it that) was still close at this point.

You never see that in Gainesville.

And, do you know that neither team scored a touchdown in this game?!!!

You definitely never see that in Gainesville!

The poor girl still insists that she wants to be a Nole!

We may not win, but I assure you, it will not be because we are scared of them, and their black uniforms. I personally think it is sad that you have to pull those kind of stunts to motivate your team and fans. Especially in a game this big. Of course we could assume they are doing it because they are scared!
