Official Code Watch for August 2007

Crossing our fingers for free dining too ... we will go Aug. 5-12 if it is offered to the general public ... if not the next trip will not be untill December 2008.

A quick question - does anyone know during the last two years of free dining to the public can you get free dining if you are staying at one of the campsites at Fort Wilderness?

Thanks

What is the free dinning, everyone is talking about? GOing with a family of four August 2008.

As far as I know...there is no Free Dining for the Campground sites. You would have to rent a room.We stayes @ POP and loved it !!!

Hi Everyone!

I have NO idea what I'm doing here yet! A brand new WDW virgin, but have just booked a land / sea package w/ Costco. That will put us there at the end of July and now trying to figure if we'll add days before the land/sea package begins or after the cruise in August.

Anyone tell me which would be more economical? Are rates better in late July or early August normally? Trying to see if our land/sea includes park tickets, then what to do as well!

Late August may be Free Dining, so you might miss out on that. I know last year no specials came out for June and July and people were really disappointed. But then starting August 13 you could get the Free Dining Package till the end of Sept.

Subscribing!

I really hope they offer again free dining... i'm so sad that I didn't booked until nov last year (i'm european) and that way i would have free dining assured :yay: But that's ok, I will be waiting for news :)

Subscribing!! We didn't sign up for the bounceback deal while we were on property in December because we thought we would be going in December again.....

So now I will wait with breathless anticipation with the rest of you as we all hope for free dining! :wizard:

Now correct me if i am wrong, but
I thought I remebered reading somewhere that the return program only had their booths at a couple resorts (POR sticks out in my memory)
If that is true, then hopefully, it doesnt bring in TOO many people and they stilll offer free dining to us

This may have been addressed...but here are my 2 cents. We were down there in December and we stayed at Pop. There wasn't a booth (at least I didn't see one) but there was a little table card in our room that said about it. We rebooked for August and we were allowed to stay at any resort. We then went on the cruise and came back to ASMusic and they did not have the little table card or booth at that resort. It may be true.

I was initially afraid that we would have to rebook the same hotel that we were in but they said we could stay at any hotel with the deal.

We just got back on the 9th and are looking at Aug. 12-22. It is so hard being back but planning our August trip will help lift us up. I am hoping for an AP code.
