Just called to order our cake for LTT and their selection is quite limited.

What were the options that they gave you?

Do they still only have Zebra cakes at AKL or do they have a variety now? Also if I wanna have it delivered to my room after we check in do I call the cake hotline or the resort?

So if I want to order the glass slipper at the Grand Floridian do I call the cake hotline number or the direct number for 1900 Park Faire.

And I can do it a week before right?

Sorry...I read through this whole thread before but cant seem to retain any information anymore........I promise to write it down this time!!

I called the cake hotline to have the slipper delivered to the Garden Tea and it was about a week before, so yes, you've got it!

Well... if you want a 6 or 8' its just the generic ones. For 10' you can add an image and that was about it.

You can just ask for one when you check in at the restaurant.

The glass slipper is made of White Chocolate and filled with white mousse at GF and filled with chocoate mousse at CRT. At CRT it sits on top of Angel Food cake and has fruits with it. At the GF it comes with a dark chocolate boat that is filled with chocolate mousse.

A little off topic - has anyone tried Gifts of a Lifetime? Seems a bit pricey! Are they worth the money? I really want this birthday to be memorable

We did GOAL for DD5th bday in 2006 and are planning to use them again in Dec for DS 11th bday. They were great, we had a savenger hunt around MK to find her gifts. It took about 2 hours and she still talks about it today and still thinks the princesses planned it for her.

For my daughters 12th birthday we will be dining at the Whispering Canyon Cafe with her best friends family. 8 of us altoghther. I would like to see pictures of cakes ordered at the Cafe and if anyone knows what they offer. I want to get her a personalized cake but I have seen they offer very little. Can someone please help me with this? She wants a goofy cake and then I saw someone else got one with the Jonas brothers but it was not at this restaurant. That would have been perfect. Please let me know. Thanks for the help.

I'm going to be celebrating my birthday at the Brown Derby with a friend in August, is it worth it to get a cake for us or should we just get regular dessert? If a cake, what would you recommend?

Wednesday June 25th was our 20th Wedding Anniversary so we celebrated it on Thursday and Monday; DD2 on Friday; DS16 on Saturday; DS12 on Sunday.
