I picked up Into the Forge, and Into the Fire by Dennis L. McKiernan at the Library sales rack. Never read him before, but the books look interesting -- "Finally, the story of the Great War of the Ban is told! Two young wanderers are given a small copper coin by a dying human, who tells them to deliver it "East to Agron" and "warn all," but dies before explaining who they are to deliver it to, and what they are to warn them of. Making matters worse, in order to deliver the message, the pair must pass through a war in the East between the Black Mage Modru and the alliance of free folk opposing him, and end up being drawn into events which threaten to overwhelm them, save for the coin which has much more significance than anyone could imagine!"Question for everyone..
Are you bringing anything to read on vacation?
Works for me.I am a chocoholic by nature though. Its a food group in this house. And I rationalize that it if you eat enough chocolate, it qualifies as a vegetable serving....after all, its made from a bean, right?![]()

And everybody knows beer is made from grain, so it's a bread..

Darn - sounds like me, this year. I had to stay off the comp, lest I do something really stoopudSo true!! I was down in the dumps early in the week over some things going on in our house too. I told DH maybe we should cancel our trip and he said no that we were going on vacation we would work the other stuff out a little at a time. So I laid around my 2 days off worrying over things I had no control over and could kick myself in the pants for not getting my stuff ready for Disney. So I am a couple of days behind but the fever is back so I am sure I will catch up. Sometimes we just let to much get to us whether it is good or bad stress it still gets to us

I'm pretty sure we've talked about mini golf before don't remember if it was a generic are you gonna/have you played or if we talked about courses.
If you've already been, which would you recommend?
Fantasia Gardens is terrific. It's easy, and a lot of fun. We've done that one a bunch of times. Never done the Fairways.
WinterSummerland wasn't as much fun, IMO. Cute theming, and I took a lot of pics, but I don't think I'd go back there, on either side. And unless you've got a car, it's in the middle of practically nowhere
HmmmEven my DW thinks I am nuts with the apps. Here are my Disney/travel apps: <pics snipped>

Ooh ! Pixie Dusting ! !We arrived at Disney today!!!! We were supposed to be staying at Asmu in two preferred connecting rooms, but when we arrived there was a note on our account stating no able to grant request. At AsMu the preferred rooms are 1 king and 2 doubles. So the upgraded us connecting rooms at CBR!!!!! Pirate rooms with a lake view!!!! I am so excited our first trip to Disney and CBR!!!

We arrive tomorrow, and I just hope that 'not able' means they aren't booked solid. I had to work to get DH to agree to a Value, and if it's super crowded there, he'll be unhappy. :crossfingers:
