****OFFICIAL August, 2012 (PART 2)****

We've only ever done Winter Summerland, but I like the theme much better overall.. it's really cute. My then 6 year old did just fine. He wasn't very good mind you, but he had fun, we didn't feel rushed and he just whacked the ball around:)

Thanks!

Well that sucks :( poor husband.

The inflamation around my sciatic nerve is resiliant too. I have had it for about 8 years now. I have had 3 cortisone treatments which is the life time max & i think it just gave me more nerve damage so i can feel his pain a tad bit (though not really)

Ouch! Have you tried chiropractic? (you probably have) I had been having a lot of back pain and my back is already feeling much better after 5 visits...still aways to go but feeling better. :) Wish it would help DH!

Posting to you all from Hollywood Studios!!!

Yay for people checking in!!!! :goodvibes

Meanwhile my hubby is getting VERY excited he posted on his facebook yesterday that in two weeks we'll be at AKL in WDW!!! (only he spelled out the words of course) I added 'maybe we will be looking at animals with our night vision goggles!' and he said 'it's not dark out yet so I will be enjoying a captian and coke' lol You all have inspired him to bring rum with us on this trip. I told him how a bottle of rum was in with your WDW supplies and he thought it was the greatest.idea.ever. I figured he'd forget about it but i guess not! :lmao:

Hope everyone has a fabulous Monday!!! 2 weeks from today I will be in the Magic Kingdom riding Dumbo for the first time ever!!!! :hyper:

I have a question of the day if no one minds...

Where is your favorite place to watch the fireworks at MK and EP?? :goodvibes

I have only seen the fireworks from our TPV room at the Poly due to my kids are scared to death of fireworks. I don't know why they are but they are.

As to EP, I did manage to see them for the first time on my girls only trip last September. So, I don't have a favorite place. I was just glad to see them.

Favorite place in MK is near the exit to miss the crowds... LoL. Actually we are doing the Wishes Dessert Party this year so we can have a designated area to watch the show. Tinkerbell is supposed to fly over our heads in this area and there are loads of desserts. Yummy! In Epcot its near Canada. We usually grab a spot early as it fills up very quickly.

In MK, its close to the exit, cuz after a day at MK, Im pretty spent and want to get to the bus stop asap:rolleyes:

At EP, I tend to always hang out near Norway, sometimes Canada, for Illuminations and then take my time leaving. I think because its my favorite park and I love the music they play as your leaving. OMG, 2 weeks from this very day I will BE in Epcot!!!!:cheer2::cheer2::cheer2:

MK- wherever we can get a spot lol

Epcot- in Mexico. We usually drink around the world and will be doing it again this time. We start in Canada and end in Mexico so we grab some food at the QS there and find a place to park ourselves

For Wishes, usually somewhere on Main Street because it's right after the parade, so we just stay put.
For Epcot, definitely around France, because we stay at the Yacht Club, so we can simply scoot out the back gate and walk - no rushing crowds, no public transportation - yay!!!!:cheer2:

We have a couple of places that we love to watch Wishes...if we are inside MK then you can find us in the little walk way that goes in front of the Noodle Station on the way to Tomorrowland, the line for Tinker Bell goes right over it and you can see everything with not a lot of people too (oops maybe I shouldn't of said that :goodvibes). If we are outside of MK, we love to watch Wishes on the California Grill's Balcony after we are done eating a wonderful meal there or we like to go to the beach at the Poly.

As for Illuminations there really isn't a bad place to watch it, just as long as there is no wall that is in front of you. However, our favorite place to be is somewhere between the U.K. and France Pavilion, preferably in front of Chefs De France and having something yummy from the French Bakery in hand while watching :goodvibes.

MK it's wherever I happen to stop and look up when it starts!

Illuminations is my absolute fav. Usually watch from Mexico, Norway or china but the best is that while everyone else heads for the hub to go out, we head in the other direction and do a sloooooow one lat loop around world showcase. It's so peaceful, no one tells us to leave and by the time we get to the bus, there's hardly anyone else around! Weve even had someone just ask us where we were going and had a bus just for us back to our resort!
