Who here will be at POFQ anytime between 8/10-16????? I know I could probably just look, but I NEVER meet ANY DISers on vacation....and I hope to change that. Last trip I met one but only because we had signed up to do the same Keys to The Kingdom tour lol I would love to meet some cool people!!!

My DW and I will be at WDW Aug 14 - 19. First night at POFQ then CBR.
We will be going to the Star Wars convention and the Last tour to Endor party.

We are going August 15th-22nd OR August 22nd-29th staying at the ASSports. I NEED to finalize my dates We were originally all set for the 15th-ADR's & all. But we may need to change to the next week & most the restaurants are full

We fly into MCO on the 20th and will get there around 11pm, so we are just staying at Buena Vista Suites that night. Then on the 21st we check into BWV until the 29th. Can't wait!!! Once I post this response, I'll know how many days I have left!

Paid it all off yesterday! So excited!
DBF has never been so he is very excited but he still doesn't "get" it completely. He loved Canobie Lake Park in NH when we went though so I know he should love Disney!!

We love Canobie Lake Park , too...but he will be overwhelmed when he sees the difference.
We are at POP the same week as you !!! Have a great trip !

Looks like WDW will be full of DISers this August. I thought it would be a good idea to organize a Dole Whip meet over at the Polynesian. It's always nice to have a chance to meet new DISers for the first time, or see some familiar faces. What better way then over a refreshing Dole Whip which is 1 snack credit. If you'd like to join us please post here with the time that best suits your plans. I'll add your name to the list.
We'll see if we can all agree on a time.

We have Breakfast @ Chef Mickey's at 10:20AM so 2PM is cool with us! Any fun suggestions for how to keep DD and DH entertained until 2? Ride the monorail around in circles? Head into the park for a few?

I'd head into the MK doing only AC attractions and those that you probably haven't done but should at least once. Exhibition Hall shows vintage cartoons and you may spot characters as they come out for meet & greets. Carousel of Progress, Hall of Pres, TikiRoom, Country Bears are all AC and possibly the waits aren't too bad. By then DH will be ready to head to the Poly. My DH would be after the Tiki Birds, LOL. It's a short hop to the Poly.

Since we'll be at the Pop Aug 11th through the 19th, I'd love to do a Dole Whip meet anytime during that week. We could meet at Captn' Cooks in the Poly or at Aloha Isle in Adventureland in MK. We have AP's, so we can hop. IS anyone interested in a Dole Whip meet those days?
