Official AUGUST 2008 CODES to be posted here please!!:)

There are some great deals @ the Dolphin in Aug. (yes to transportation & EMH) (no to DME & free dining) in case anyone is interested.
I think we are paying $179. plus tax($221 all in w/ parking) which is not to bad, and the place is awesome!:lmao:

We last went to disney last Feb. so when we ordered our tickets we did not order tickets that included water parks. Now, we are going in Aug. and would like to go do the water parks. I have heard that we can purchase water parks to our tickets for $50. Does disney usually have free water park offers for the month of Aug. every year???????? If so, we will wait for that offer to come out.

As far as I remember there has never been the free water parks option for August. We almost always get a % off the room discount--nothing on tickets.

But the % off the room is usually about the same if not better savings depending on your party size.

So last night I dreamt about Disney and woke up feeling like we really need to go (DH and I can't decide if we should go or not.) Then lo and behold I check my email and I have a 20% off PIN!!!! Not super awesome, but at least I won't have to renew the AAA membership.

I still believe a general public discount for early August will come out by the end of June. Last year's code came out then.

I'm waiting for end of july to mid-august and hoping for a good AP discount for a value, moderate , or deluxe (Polynesian) :wizard:
July 30 to August 13

Thanks

There is a 3 letter code for this package I recieved in an email and I have questions!
I already booked 2 rooms at POP for within the times specified. I also added
4 days of park hoppers for the ppl staying in these 2 rooms (myself, DH and infant in one room and my DF in the other) B/c the persons are different from
that in their discount package, and my tix are different would I be able to
call back a CM thru the WDW travel angency and use this code for a
possible discount on the room itself? Or is a strict, 'must have 2 adults, 1 jr, 1 child and use only 6 days worth of base tickets only' type of thing? Any help would be greatly appriciated. TIA!

You do not have to have the example family. Your price will be for whomever is in a room. You can book the free dining or have no problem as long as there are rooms still available in the hotel you are staying at. You do have to have the same tickets for each person in each room for this offer. You actually only have to purchase a 1 day pass and qualify for the free dining for the entire stay. CALL WDW NOW! The free dining is well worth it!!

Thanks for the quick reply! But I went ahead and called a CM just to see
if that code would save me any money....sadly it was just a free dining plan
code and I already had that. And I think I'm getting a good deal anyway...what do yall think?

2 rooms at pop sept 7th -12th
4 days of park hoppers for 3 adults (DD is only 1)
Free dining plan
travel insurance for each person
$1951 that's with tax
If anyone else knows how to save me more money PLZ lemme know. :goodvibes

I don't know of any other specials out there except the free dining. To tell you the truth, with all the planning involved with free dining, we did not make use of the park hoppers at all last year. It just may be a way to save some money. They are 45 per adult, not sure of the additional cost for child. I, too, would make all your TS reservations ASAP. We couldn't get any times/place we really wanted when we booked our reservaitons in June last year for the last week of Sept. We booked the trip in June as a last minute trip. Just some ideas!

Thanks! If we switched to indivdual tickets excluding the park hoppers, if we visit MK at 7am to noon go back to hotel come back at 330 can we get BACK
into MK?

Yes, it's 1 park per day. You can go back and forth into the same one all you like. To me, like I said with the dining we didn't use it once in 8 days so it was a waste.

I went last year with free dining, and would NOT go without the hopper pass. We went up to 3 parks in one day! We loved having the option and used its every day. We are going without the water parks this year to save money tho.

Have fun!! :cool1:

I did the exact opposite, and I did use the hoppers last year but we are going to be there for 8 days and I figured we would use disney quest and the water parks... But , I may add hoppers yet:goodvibes

We might still add the water parks too.:rotfl: We have to wait to see how high airfare will be. :confused3 I can't go without the hopper because there is too many great places to eat at Epcot. But my DS13 isn't a fan of that park. We loved the Water parks but for some reason we only went two times. :confused3 Not sure why, we were there for 9 days. We did hit Disney Quest.

Happy Planning!!

So the summer AP rates are out. I looked it up and they came out on 5/16 last year, so hopefully means the general public codes will come out a little earlier this year. Last year I cut it VERY close to the 45 day mark, which was nerve wrecking...nerve racking...? Which one is it? :teeth:

Anyway, here's hoping for some early codes.

Oh and it seems like this year's discount is about the same as last years about 25-30% off with the AP.

Does this mean there won't be anything past the 2nd?? I'm going August 4-13 and wondering if i should switch my dates!!

No. It doesn't mean that at all. It's just that the 3rd starts value season, so we'll get a different round of codes.

Last year there were AP codes for most of the summer and then a general public code that started at the beginning of value season. I think there was another AP code too that was a little better than the general code.

If you can switch your dates, the later you can go into August, the less crowded it will become.

Also all these PIN email codes are starting on August 10th, so you might want to consider that.

Oh wait, you're thinking of moving up??? I wouldn't do that. You're getting a big discount for being in value season instead of summer season already.

And like I said, the later you can go the better, crowd-wise.

Last year after AP codes coming out for up until August 4th, another set of codes came out for August 5-Sept 29. So if you have an AP, you should get another code near mid to late June. (If everything happens like last year! ;))
