Yikes. Good call. My procastination has already costed me $115 per person. I wonder how much higher it has to go before I bite the bullet.:thumbsup2

I have flown Airtran nonstop from Buffalo to Orlando in Aug 06 & 07. Had no problems. It is no frills...you get your bag of pretzels and a can of pop, but I couldn't beat the price for nonstop flights.

I always fly with Air Tran from Moline to Orlando non stop! No major problems yet :thumbsup2

:sad1: There is a website called kayak.com that checks all the airlines, then you can print the one you like best and then go book it yourself. Since I a want non-stop and do not want to fly the midnight express, the best deal I have found from DFW to MCO is on AA at $306 per person. :headache:

wow, thanks for sharing that site! (and yapta.com too!) they've been helpful, and i'll keep checking! thanks!! :cheer2:

Thanks for the info. Do they fly direct?

Yes. Spirit Air flys direct from Atlantic City right to Orlando. And amazingly enough they leave on time. I've flown out of Newark countless times and most times they never arrive or leave on time. I use Spirit for DisneyWorld and also Cancun. Unfortunetly they don't fly direct to Cancun. If you sign up for their emails they always have specials twice a week. Sometimes its $24.00 off sometimes its $48.00 off. Hope this helps

I'm looking to fly out of Stewart in august too but the cheapest fare I see is $158 roundtrip before taxes. This is from Airtran's website. Did you use a coupon? I know there was a $25 discount floating around recently.

 We got a code for 20% off:banana:
This came in my BF name and we have 2 rooms, 2different names, I'm not sure if we will be able to use it for both or not but it would be great if we can. If not one room discounted is good. Still have fingers crossed for 40% or free dining.

I also had a code for August...you can use the code for 2 or 3 (I can't recall) additional rooms, so it should not be a problem but I would contact Disney asap to link the rooms. COngrats on the code!

Do they just mail out random codes to people? I have never been to disney, so sorry for asking redundant questions.:worship:

Yes, it seems to be completely random as to who the Disney Marketeers give the codes to and what those codes are for. All you can do is call and hope for the best.

So would I qualify if I booked through AAA?

If so, I just call WDW and ask if a code is attached to my name?
Is this random, or do I need to call every week?

I'm not sure that there is a "qualifier", but if your in the system, then you are half way there.

It seems completely random to me. I called once a week for about 3 weeks after the first set of codes were reported. I have no idea why I got the code when I did or why mine was 20% and others got 30% or 40%.

So the moral of the story, don't give up.

Ok, just finished booking my WDW trip... :cool1:

I called WDW and since I booked through my travel agent they can't assist me except for dining. They said that I am not even in the system due to booking through the travel agent.

Does this mean that I can't call to see if I have a code?
Does my TA need to call and bug the heck out of them? Which probably won't happen..lol

Please help :D

For those who will be renting a car. I found a great site from a link on Laughingplace.com. It's called Rentalcarmomma.com. It has all the latest codes for the rental companies. We plan on using Alamo because 1) they are located in the Airport and 2) we've had good luck from them in the past.

It had 2 codes posted for Alamo. I tried them both and they gave me approx $50 discount on a midsize car. Whatever car company you choose, make sure you join them first and sign up for email alerts. Alamo set me one today that will give me additional 10% off if I prepaid. I don't know if these are allowed on top of the other two. Also, this is for Alamo only, they have an express line for members. Before I joined up I waited 45 minutes to get my car while I watched the express line virtually empty the entire time. The express line clerk does not take up the slack for the regular saps that are not members. :goodvibes

We all, myself, BF & Mom have signed up for everything the same......I signed us all up...at the same time. He is the only one that got a code. Soooo, I guess it really is just random. Good luck.:cheer2:
