I didn't get to watch much at all last week so it sounds like I missed a lot! Dumb question, but why did Mike get hit over the head?

BJ hired Mike to fix up Fairwinds for him which looks to me like it's in terrible shape. BJs plan is with Mike working hard at FW, BJ can spend more time with Katie. So Mike was inspecting something, and bam, a beam falls on his head! Maddie thinks BJ is trying to kill Mike.

That's why a few days ago I posted about where they were, I couldn't even tell it was Fairwinds. To me, it totally looked like it was in bad condition. A real fixer-upper!

BJ knew Katie in highschool and had a huge crush on her. Apparently he was a big geek. Now he's good looking and really rich and moving to Oakdale so he can have his big chance with her, so he wants to put her exercise show on TV as his "in". Henry is onto him, which is why BJ is keeping him very close to him, so he doesn't blow his cover.

And I don't think BJ is really trying to kill Mike. I think it was really an accident. I think he wants to keep Mike out of the picture, that's it.

Interesting observation -- I agree.

I don't think he planned for the beam and plaster to drop on Mike's head - but this might give him some ideas.

It is going to be an interesting week.

I really hope we get some answers about this Gwen/Carly/Baby/Jen thing - I want it wrapped up in a neat little package with a bow.

Speaking of packages - I can't believe I missed the whole Mike thing!!!!

I know! How stupid was that?!?! I was wondering how she'd see them without them seeing her but that was just dumb!

I've been meaning to ask has anyone else noticed that Lily's hair is almost back to the old way? She colored it again and is styling it back the way it used to be. I guess she changed her mind. I'm kind of glad cause I didn't like it!

I'm getting so sick of the baby storyline!!! Please get it over with already!!!

I didn't see all of it - but I will give it a shot

Let's see -

Jen and Dusty talked about going to Craig and asking him about the baby or saying that they saw the baby -- something - I missed that part - anyway they set it up to go see him and the prison calls back and says that he refuses to see them

Jen is devistated - feels like they get so close - she would crawl over broken glass for her baby - can feel him in her arms and then he is pulled away again - as sick as I am of all this as I am - have to say I think the girl who plays her character does such a great job - anyway Dusty comforts her and they begin to kiss ...

I missed the whole thing with Lily, Holden, and Keith -- he is staying in town and they are getting back together, Keith still loves her ---

Luke is sick not eating

Gwen is in the hospital - concusion - baby Billy/Rory is okay

Carly and Jack figure out that Gwen is her half sister and she goes in to talk to her about it

Some how Meg and Paul end up on the plane together and Meg tells Paul that his sister's baby is alive!! He doesn't show too much emotion and she figures out that he has known all along -- he keeps hounding her about not telling Jen and she ends up telling him that she is going to give him the medical report and he can do what he wants with it --- she leaves him at the bar to have a drink and think about it

Paul calls Emily and tells her Meg is on board and he looks so smug and he opens the report and it says GO TO HELL! That was great!!!

Meg goes upstairs to tell Dusty and Jen and for some stupid reason they have left their hotel room door open and she see them about to - well you know - and again BTW that was a lot of skin and undressing going on there - I think she backs off

There was a lot with Emily and with Hal - but I missed most of that.

That is all I remember - hope to have helped!!

Oh and one other thing - don't you think they do a great job on this soap with getting actors who look like each other for siblings etc -- Gwen and Carly look a lot alike - Molly and Carly - Henry and Maddie - Lucy and Serria has a lot of the same mannerism - JMHO

I just watched it. Good recap. I can fill in the Lilly story. She told Holden her feelings for Keith are over and they buy soup to take home to Luke- together. Keith still wants her and told her he is not giving up.

Emily just gave Hal a lot of BS. I fast forwarded most of it.

Has anyone noticed how messed up the age gap is between Gwen and Carly? In the flashbacks, Carly can't be older than nine. Ok, Gwen is in high school, right? So she is 17-18? No way Carly is 27!!!! It is making me crazy.

I wonder if Luke "lost" an organ. I wondered about Meg - a little twisted to stand there watching - we get the point.

I agree about the Carly/Gwen age thing....I picture Carly as about my age- 33 give or take. Then again, this is a soap. Padding a few years is acceptable. I do think Carly and Gwen will make great sisters- rough around the edges, but then you find yourself rooting for them. (well, not lately for Carly, but she was my favorite during the whole Jack lost his memory thing).

Today I just could not believe how much weight Hal has lost.
