OK - it's been awhile - glad we are back in a new thread.

I don't like Brad dying - so sad  - at least he names the baby and katie can say goodbye.

I knew Liberty would never give birth or have an abortion- glad to see the end of this story.

Hope jack doesn't leave for long. so sad he is the one who shot Brad.

Not liking Craig and Rosanna- she would never have forgiven him - stupid

LOVE that Audry is leaving.

and WHY does the Uncle Ralph care so much about money that wasn't even his- that does not make sense at all - glad he is the next to go!!

I agree with much said here so wont repeat it :thumbsup2

These soaps have to many people coming and going. Everyone is being killed off in so many soaps. Wonder if Carly and Holden get back together or her with Jack. To many things happening it makes my head spin.

Happy to see everyone going except for Brad. Is whats her name returning? Geesh cant think of her name ....Henry's girl friend ???? I hope she comes back. And what about Paul and Emily? Will they really be moving to CA.? Are they also leaving the show? UGHpopcorn::

Glad to see people finding this thread. :)

I'm so bummed about Brad. I'm not looking forward to the scenes. :(

I am so disgusted with the Craig/Rosanna storyline.

I hope then at least it brings Carly back to Jack but I doubt it.

I'm also sick of the nuLily storyline where she married Damian a few weeks after Holden's 'death'. She's an idiot and not the greatest actress either. :sad2:

I also always thought the Ralph/Henry money laundering story was so rediculous.

Thanks for the pm!

I think Jack and Carly are going to go on some big adventure together:love: leaving Dusty and Janet to hook up next . As much as I loved Dusty before his "death," I have nothing for the "new greasy haired Dusty.

Rosanna will only be on through the end of the year, so she and Craig won't be a long term deal. I wonder who Craig will hook up with next.:confused3

I'm so sick of Audrey and Ralph. I can't believe they brought James back for this stupid storyline. And I'm sure Barbara was wondering what the writers were thinking with this fiasco. Is Vienna off the show for good?

And I have to add that I still don't care for nuLily at all! But I'm a huge Martha fan-no one else will ever be Lily to me.

I just watched today's show. Not of fan of Katie seeing people who weren't there. And did anyone else flinch when Janet called Brad's new baby Liberty's step-brother! That is such a huge pet peeve of mine! I have 2 half sisters and 2 half brothers (and one "whole" sister). Parker, Sage, and JJ (wherever he may be-Sage seems to have vanished, too) are Liberty's step-siblings. This baby is her blood!

I'll be sorry to see Brad killed off..

I can't stand Dusty - and the thought of him "befriending" Janet makes me want to hurl my dinner..

I'm hoping that Carly and Craig will get back together again.. I love the way they interacted and I'm soooooooo "over" the Carly/Jack thing coming back time and time again..

Don't like the new Lily at all - can't stand Damian - and again, more repeats of old story lines..

Who do you think Katie will blame Brad's death on? Henry, Jack, or both?

Sweeps:

Brad's Death - Jack feels guilty about what he's taken from Libs, Katie, Jacob (Brad and Katie's baby) and Janet. He can't go to the funeral because he feels too guilty and he can't bring himself to go to his family for help. He won't let Janet help him either. He leaves town and runs into Simon, Ben, Molly and Mike on his adventure.

Henry/Katie - Vienna will be off screen for awhile(so I guess she is coming back?. Henry will be there for Katie to help her, but it's not romantic. He feels guilty for his role in Brad's death and wants to see her through this.

Carly: Carly runs into Jack outside of Brad's funeral. She follows Jack on his trip and he lets her because she wasn't involved in what went down and was an outsider to all the events. When Carly returns to Oakdale, she feels that Craig was there for her, kept things going for her and it was thinking about him that made her want to get better.

Craig/Ro: The affair continues. For both of them it's about letting go of their ugly past. They have to figure out if Carly can take the news.

Meg/Damian/Lily/Holden - Lily is married to Damian, but wants Holden back. But Holden can't figure out if he wants to go back to Lily after all that's happened, especially since Damian is still in the picture. Holden finds his own chance at a new romance. Meanwhile, Meg finds out that Damian knew the truth about Holden not being dead and holds it over Damian's head.

Maddie/Casey/Paul/Emily/Mick/Ali - Casey and Ali break up and Maddie wants Casey. Ali doesn't want another relationship and she meets Mick Tom Pelphrey-from GL. Mick has something to offer to Paul and Em, but his promises are hard to believe and shocking. While, after losing Liberty's baby, Paul and Em think maybe a child isn't in the cards for them. They've got a lot of Stenbeck money and Paul wants to burn it. Emily thinks there is something good they can do with it.

Mason/Luke/Noah - Luke begins to see that Mason is taking advantage of Noah. Luke's Damian side comes out as a result. Luke makes some choices that will have a big impact on Luke and Noah. DK says this storyline is really going to pick up.

As the World Turns continues its effort to bring back some of the show's fan favorite characters. In addition to upcoming return of Molly McKinnon, fans will also soon see Mike Kasnoff, Simon Frazier, and Ben Harris back in Oakdale. More importantly for the viewers, none of the roles will be recast.

Don't look now As the World Turns fans, but the long-running CBS soap is revving up for the return of three more veteran performers later this year. On second thought, fans will definitely want to look! The returns, of which all three are men, will definitely boost the heartthrob quotient in Oakdale.

Mark C. Collier (Mike Kasnoff), Paul Leyden (Simon Frazier), and Peter Parros (Ben Harris) will all reprise the roles they're known for

Of the three returnees, Parros is the most veteran. The actor joined the cast of As the World Turns in 1986. Parros hasn't been seen in Oakdale since June 2005, when the actor was demoted to recurring status due to a lack of story for his character. The actor, however, has continued to make television appearances. Parros has appeared on CSI: Miami, Bones, and in an upcoming episode of the sitcom, Sherri. Keen-eyed viewers may also have spotted him a commercial for a smoking cessation product.

Collier and the Emmy-nominated Leyden both exited As the World Turns in January 2007, though not together.

Since leaving daytime, Leyden appeared as a series regular in the Australian television series, Canal Road. Leyden first appeared as Simon in March 2000. Though he exited the show three years later, he's made a series of special appearances since then.

Collier, meanwhile, made a guest appearance on CSI: Miami last year. He is one of three actors to portray Mike Kasnoff, but not the most recent. Collier began his five-year run in July 2002. Actor Jon Prescott appeared in the role from April 2008 through October 2008.

All three actors are expected to return in November, though exact first airdates have not yet been released.

I am going to really miss Brad. I loved his character. Today is going to stink

I just watched today's show. Not of fan of Katie seeing people who weren't there. And did anyone else flinch when Janet called Brad's new baby Liberty's step-brother! I couldn't believe she called Brad's new baby a step brother either.

Yes, I will also miss Brad. Sorry to see him go.

I agree about Brad. He may be a horse's behind in real life, but I loved the character. And if the rumor about the cast being upset that he was having an affair with Katie are true-why was he fired for that? They are both adults and the affair should be a matter for them and their significant others-not the business of the cast and crew!

I will also miss Brad and was looking forward to them having a family finally. My take on him leaving may be that their spouses said she goes or he goes...but they cant be together as Husband and wife anymore because it would be like giving them permission to continue with the affair on TV through their characters.

Henry discovers he has a ghostly connection to Brad.....:rotfl2:Henry is the Ghost whisperer :lmao: that is way to funny....I can see it now:rotfl:
