Roseanna is only on through the end of the year, so Craig will be a free man again. And Molly is coming back for Holden, at least for awhile. I like Janet, but I'm not a fan of her and Jack. I always loved Jack and Carly, and if he can stop being so judgemental I'd like to see them make it work.

I don't think Simon will be on for long either. Henry and Katie will eventually make up, I think after his "spiritual" connection to Brad is shown. But they aren't supposed to be a romantic couple. I haven't watched today's show, but I did like that Barbara was there for him on yesterday's (I just finished watching it). I think the spoilers said that Brad whispered the name Jacob to Katie, but obviously he didn't since Katie and Jack were trying to figure out what name he had picked. I guess Brad will reveal the name to Henry??????????

Tom Pelphrey debuts as Mick Dante on November 10th. He'll be part of Paul and Em's need to have a family. They have money inherited from Stenbeck and they want to do some good with it. That's where Mick comes in.

Tom Degnen is done as Adam and will not be returning per DK. There was going to be a Casey/Ali/Adam triangle, but the show went in another direction (the direction being Tom P.)

Cady McClain (Ro) is out and will air until around Christmas.

Can someone tell me what is the back history with Rosanna and Carly?

I think all the acting on this soap is awesome. Katie is doing an anazing job as the young widow. As well as Jack as the distraught brother.

Rosanna is supposed to be Carly's younger sister, but Cady's Rosanna seems older. Carly's dad was an alcoholic, and her mother ran off and married a rich older man and had Rosanna. She abandoned Carly, and Carly came to town with a huge chip on her shoulder. Rosanna was in love with Mike, and Carly seduced him and got pregnant. In a fight with Rosanna, she lost the baby (a girl she named Nora). Out of guilt, Rosanna set up a trustfund of $50 million for Carly's next baby IF the baby was born by New Years and IF Carly was married to the father and Mike wasn't the father. Carly jumped through hoops with Hal Munson (Barara's ex dh, Margo's ex lover, and Adam's father) and John Dixon (Margo's father, Dusty's legal guardian) trying to get pregnant, but really loved Jack the whole time. She even made herself go in to labor to get the money. I think Jack even delivered Parker.

Also, Brad used to be Jack's older brother, and wasn't such a nice guy.

Molly is coming back soon. She and Holden have a daughter, Abbigale, from when they were kids (before the Snyders came onto the show).

A few years later, Carly (who'd lost money in Hong Kong and had since moved back to Montana) found out there WAS a deadline. Carly had to have a baby by the end of 1998, or the deal was off. At the same time she found this out, she was contacted by her cousin Molly. Molly needed help snaring Holden Snyder away from his wife; and Carly was happy to oblige. Carly decided to move back to Oakdale with her cousin, looking to get married and beat the deadline. She got a job at the police station and became very close to Hal Munson and Jack Snyder. While trying to help Jack capture arsonist Teague, Carly and Jack got stranded at a cabin and almost made love. When they were rescued, Jack was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. Since Carly only had about 9 months to meet her deadline, she instantly married Hal Munson. To guarantee that she would get pregnant, she had herself artificially inseminated by Dr. John Dixon. Carly's marriage to Hal, already on shaky ground because Hal's daughter, Nikki, had suspicions about Carly, started to fall apart because it was obvious that she was in love with Jack. At the same time that Hal decided to divorce Carly, she found out that the sperm that was inseminated into her was donated by Dr. Dixon himself!! Tests revealed that John was the father; they quickly married and once Carly's baby, Parker, was born, they divorced. Carly then found out that John was NOT the baby's father; Hal was. Brad Snyder, Jack's brother, blackmailed her with this information and forced her to marry him. Carly told Brad in no uncertain terms that she didn't love him and was only marrying him to ensure she didn't lose her fortune. While married to Brad, Carly came thisclose to having a one-night stand with the man she never stopped loving, Jack Snyder.

Carly decided to divorce Brad and pursue Jack; she promised Brad $5 million to agree to the divorce. At Hal and Barbara's engagement party, a vengeful Brad showed up with Parker and broke the news that he was Hal's, not John's, son. Rosanna immediately pulled the plug on the money, Jack recoiled in disgust and Carly was shunned by everyone else in Oakdale. A penniless Carly gave Parker to Hal and Barbara because she was homeless, but couldn't stay away and kept showing up at their house. At Hal's urging, Lisa gave Carly a menial job and basement digs. Carly and Barbara then started coming to an understanding about Carly's visitation with Parker. After losing everything, Carly was determined to get her life together and started working at Java. To her surprise, Jack befriended her and forgave her deception

Guiding Light star Daniel Cosgrove has found a new daytime gig and, as previously reported, it will not be on One Life to Live. The two-time Emmy nominee will join former co-star Tom Pelphrey on As the World Turns. Cosgrove began his daytime career on All My Children.


After about a four-month break, Daniel Cosgrove is returning to daytime television. The actor, who became a hot commodity upon the cancellation of Guiding Light, will remain in the Procter & Gamble family: he's joining the cast of As the World Turns.


Cosgrove made his daytime debut in 1996 on All My Children. There, he played the role of Scott Chandler for two years before branching out to roles in primetime. In 2002, Cosgrove returned to daytime as a member of the cast of Guiding Light. During his seven-year run with the now-canceled soap, Cosgrove earned two Daytime Emmy nominations -- one for Supporting Actor in 2008 and a Lead Actor nod in 2009. It was that acclaim, coupled with a fan following and his good looks, that made several soaps express an interest in him when, in April, it was announced that Guiding Light would be going off the air.


Earlier this year, Cosgrove's name had been brought up as a possible candidate for the role of Joey Buchanan on ABC's One Life to Live. Though several soap web sites reported that Cosgrove's migration to Llanview was a done deal, for one reason or another, Cosgrove never signed his name on the dotted line.


Since that time, Cosgrove signed on to appear in the online soap, Venice: The Series, opposite former Guiding Light co-stars Crystal Chappell (ex-Olivia Spencer; Carly Manning, Days of our Lives) and Jessica Leccia (ex-Natalia Rivera). Cosgrove later backed out of the online series, citing his work schedule as the reason for his unavailability.


When he joins As the World Turns, Cosgrove will be reunited with his former Guiding Light castmate, Tom Pelphrey (Mick Dante; ex-Jonathan Randall; Guiding Light), who made his first ATWT appearance earlier this week.


Cosgrove's first airdate has yet to be announced nor has As the World Turns made public the name of the character that Cosgrove will be playing.

awwww i love Liberty - darn it!

I know, me too! I could live without a few others but I enjoyed Liberty.

I'm actually pretty sick of Meg and the way they are writing her right now. Same with Lily and that stupid marrying Daimen (sp?) right after Holden's death. I still haven't warmed up to this actress.

I'm starting to think Vienna isn't coming back. I sure hope I'm wrong.
