I ordered it from the website. It said they will mail you everything you need as long as you are at least 14 days out from arrival.

I ended up ordering the Photo Pass plus today.
Anyone have any idea of how long it typically takes to get to you?

I got mine exactly a week after ordering it online, and things tend to take a little longer to get to us out here in Colorado. I know some people have said they got it after 4-5 days. I know they say 14 days just to be safe, but it seems to always be much faster than that.

We decided this morning that we are going to drive up to Denver the night before, so that we don't have to get the kids up at 3am. So I booked our hotel with the Park & Fly deal. Cost a bit more than I was hoping, but as DH said, as much as we're spending on the vacation, this is a drop in the bucket, lol! We'll still have to be up by about 5am, but that's 7am Disney Time, so it might work out okay. Although we won't be getting to bed early- DD will still insist on going to one last swim practice I'm sure, so we'll be lucky to be there and in bed by 10pm. But maybe the kids will be more worn out after all that and go to sleep faster! At least it "feels" like the vacation starts one day sooner this way :cool1:

We're staying at my Mom's house the night before. It makes no sense for us to drive or fly straight from here, because it's a 2 hour drive, and the flight probably would have been a few hundred dollars more. It's kind of a bummer, because it basically sucks up an extra day coming and going, but we'll survive.

We have the same situation. There is an airport here in town, but it's almost always more expensive and there are only a handful of places you can get to direct. DH actually lucks out because there is an early morning commuter flight direct to San Fransisco, when he goes out there for the week he is usually the first one into the office (He loves giving his coworkers a hard time about that :rotfl2:) But there aren't many other places they fly to from here.

Frontier had actually just started doing a direct to MCO flight last year, which really excited me at first, but I didn't book it because it was a lot more, and the times weren't that great anyway. Then last month they announced that they were cancelling all service from our airport at the beginning of April, so I'm REALLY glad I didn't book through them! Although a direct flight from our home airport (15 minutes away) to MCO did sound really cool.

We've done it both ways, getting up at 3am to make the drive to Denver, and staying near the airport the night before. Honestly I'm not sure which is less hassle. But I decided that the most important thing was to have the kids as well rested as possible, and being able to get up 2 hours later will likely still be better than going to sleep 2 hours sooner. Since they probably wouldn't have been able to go to sleep quickly anyway. And since we're leaving the car there, if we are just too tired by the time we get back, I'm sure we could get a room for the night again.

I got mine about a week after I ordered it on the web site. But, don't worry, there's nothing in the package that you need.

You get a CD with stock photos plus a voucher that you trade in for a "red" card.. If for any reason you don't get the voucher in time, they can simply look you up by name and give you your red card.

I'm doing so good with my packing! Glad I thought to bring a carryon each to put some of the clothes in. I have the kids clothes all packed and am coming in at 40 lbs. But I got to fit like 2-3 outfits, pjs, shoes, bathing suit, etc. in their carryons. And they're those little rolling cases so they should be able to pull them so we don't get stuck carrying them, in addition to our own plus the 2 big suitcases.

Now, let's see if I can get mine and DH's clothes to come in under 50.

Starting to feel a little frazzled to make sure all is good and done by the time we leave. The kids are 90% packed, and the carry on entertainment is packed. Just need to find space to bring some food on the plane. What does everyone bring?
Another note, I am going shopping on Saturday, with out the kids, for Disney clothes! So excited!

We are leaving the house at 5 AM next Wednesday... Work is though, so I haven't had the time to pack anything, but try on and put my summer clothes in a corner of my room. My parents called yesterday to say that they had packed their luggages. Wow! I never thought that they'd be ahead of me!!!
I guess that I'll really have to get on it after skiing tomorrow...

THis is so exciting, in 1 week, at this time, I'll be in the MK!

I'm in Canada and I received our photopass + one week after ordering it.

Noooooo......leaving Monday and we are all getting sick! Did this 2 years ago and almost makes me want to stay home

Which part of Richmond do you intend to stop at and what kind of food do you like?

Good question. Lol. I'm not sure which part exactly.....we are staying at the Holiday Inn Express right off of the highway somewhere.

I should probably be a little more prepared than that answers demonstrates.:rotfl2:

I saw that you enjoy BBQ- on broad st there is a restaurant called Buzz and Neds- it is a bit on the pricier side, but Oh my is it ever good. We also have a few Famous Dave's scattered about. A little north of richmond city, exit for Parham Rd there are a bunch of fast food places, but if you drive a little further back north a tad you have a chili's a red Robin, Texas Roadhouse, plaza azteca(Mexican), shoney's and an Italian place and another family owned Mexican restaurant. The only places over there I have ate at has been red robin and Texas Roadhouse. Downtown is a bit foreign to me, but again on broad st there is a restaurant called mclain's and it has really good breakfast. On Cary st there are many option from BBQ to Sushi, but my favorite restaurant pre-celiacs diagnosis was a place called the galaxy. It had amazing nachos and awesome burgers, and even offered fried pickles and ice cream as an appetizer-called knock me up Scotty. We would always get it sans the ice cream though. There is also a decent Thai restaurant there. In downtown richmond there is a restaurant called bottoms up pizza, but I personally have never eaten there, but was told I should. There are also so many more option scattered all along broad st, but a lot of it is your standard Applebee's and ruby Tuesdays.

:scared1: My biggest fear. Nobody has been sick in our house for over 6 months, not even a sniffle, so I know we are overdue.
If you aren't leaving till Monday, you still have almost 4 days, maybe it won't be that bad.:confused3

Our Mickey Mail just arrived!

Our countdown is now 19 days and AAA just emailed us that our MM has arrived and we can pick it up today.

It's getting real! (grin)
