After going through the past 10 pages that I missed I am feeling horrible for you all that are struggling with the prices of flights. I feel so lucky. $817 for 3 of us non-stop flights. It makes the planning a lot less stressful. Here's hoping that you all with get some fairy dust and get cheap flights..

Agreed. I was really worried we were going to pay a small fortune for 5 round trip tickets, but I was able to book yesterday and It was less than I thought it would be. I got 5 round trip tickets for $1133. I hope for everyone still waiting to book that the fares come down. :goodvibes

So, with the 2013 theme brought out, what do you think Disney might do for the last two weeks of April? I'm sure that the first part of April will be holiday related. :confused3

What do you guys think????

We live in Southern Maine and usually fly out of Manchester NH but the fares are really high for our dates. We could fly out of Providence but that's a 3 hr car ride instead of 1hr 15 min. If it were just me and DH I would totally go to PVD but we will have our 3 yr old and 6 month old too. My in laws live 45 mins from PVD so we could stay there the night before we leave and then they could drive us...save some $ on parking too. But on the way home I know we will just want to get home but it may be tough having the kids cooped up that long...

Another option would be to change dates...4/22-4/30 out of MHT is actually cheaper than PVD for the original dates.

I would stay overnight at the IL's each way so at least on the way home you don't have to go from a 3 hour flight right to a 3 hour drive. OR, I would just change dates!

Yeah I think I'm leaning toward changing the dates now...a BLT standard view studio is available for 8 nights for the alternate dates! Saving us $$$$$

If you are able to switch dates and save money, that is what I would do for sure! :)

It's always more expensive flying out of Manchester. I live 15 minutes away, and still choose Logan every time. I get a car service down and back and it still saves me money.

I'm seeing some chatter about how the whole Fastpass+ could well be implemented by the time we go. :confused3 Now, I have been kind of off-the-grid on Disney until we started planning the trip in early September, but ... does anyone know what this is supposed to be?

I'm praying it isn't reserving your Fastpasses through your wireless devices at the hotel, etc. ... because we just don't have smartphones, tablets, etc. Maybe someday, but plain ol' cell phones work just fine for us right now, so our money goes elsewhere.

Anyone know more about it? I'm probably worrying over nothing. Again. :rotfl:

I have dates 4/18 and 4/28 and am having to fly out of Boston, and I LIVE in MHT. The fares are too ridiculous!!

That is exactly what I just said. I am in Dunbarton and we always go Logan. This time we are driving though. Taking a few days down and a few days up to stop and see some pretty cool stuff. April 21-29 we will actually be at Disney. Wanna hitch a ride???? I think we may have some free space on the roof by the time we are done packing. Lol

Today was ADR day....and I got everything we wanted. Yay!!!! It's a bit like Black Friday with the sense of accomplishment. Lol

WOW! That's a long drive. Our friends in Londonderry always drive down as well. :crazy2:

It seems so silly to drive an hour to an airport when I've got one so close by, but oh well!! DH gives a budget, and I do what I've got to do to stick within in it!! :rotfl:

Wow! That stinks :(. The only thing is there's no nonstop flights from Logan on southwest and I am not doing a layover with two little ones!

SW is flying out of Portland now! They had flights with a layover at BWI for my dates 15th ($163) down and 22nd ($201) back on the sight.

Edit: Just saw the no layover comment, sorry. They did have a flight down with a stop, but no plane change for $191.

I was going to change from Manchester to this, but my DMIL wants the nonstop with 5 kids in tow, so we're going to bite the bullet for our trip I guess.

I'm bumming a little because we almost always find Manchester SW the cheapest flights over Portland or Logan. We also usually do our flying midweek.

We've thought about doing this if we had 2 weeks to do it. But I think I'd want to rent a minivan to drive down and visit/sight see, then fly back. It's the ride back that is painful.

That depends on the week. For my week it's more expensive from PVD b/c that's the week of April vacation in RI and MA. Manchester is cheaper for me ( not much though) b/c NH vacation is the week after mine. So the prices depend on the week of the school vacation. :(
It has always been like that since we've been going for April.

I forgot to say that fares out of Logan are similar to Providence. We love PVD and its closer than Logan for us. But if Logan was any cheaper we'd go there but it's usually just as bad if not more.
