I think the judges have been making up the Russian thing because they can't figure out the accent and she hasn't offered an explanation.

Ohh I could have sworn she said it in one of her interviews.

Tatiana from cycle 4 - was she Russian (or of Russian descent)? She was also from Hawaii, and it would be weird if there a disproportionately large numebr of Russian model-wannabes living in Hawaii. (I know, Renee was from Hawaii, too, and she's not Russian).

If she was really Russian, I don't think the judges would constantly be making fun of her accent. A couple of cycles ago there was a girl from Dallas who I really think WAS a Russian mail order bride. The judges didn't ever say anything negative about her accent; they even complimented her when she had to do an Austrailan accent.

But with the Hawaiin girl, they've been saying things like, "That voice! I hate to hear her talk" "Jamacian Russian mail order bride" etc. They didn't mock Jaslene either. I think they think this girl just talks weirdly.

Someone with a better recollection of casting please correct me if I'm wrong.

That does make sense. For some reason I really do remember her saying she was from Russia but I don't remember where she may have said it. Oh well

I really don't like most of the makeovers. Allison looked way better with dark hair, although she did remind me of Sarah Silverman, which I believe was already mentioned. She seemed so stuck up when she wouldn't say thank you and she deserved to leave.

The main makeover that looked good was Fatima, but I really can't stand her. I thought she was so pretty at first, but now that her personality is coming out, she's getting ugly to me.

So far, I like Claire...We'll see! I still don't know most of their names.

The meat was...different.

I hope Lauren gets it together and slows down. I like her.

I thought the judges would send Amis, when she showed up to panel with a headband.

UGH, as a vegetarian I was thoroughly skeeved out. I don't think I would've been able to do it! Anyway, Lauren and Claire are still my favorite, followed by the Polish girl who's name is to long for me to remember I can't stand Fatima. I liked her in the beginning but I find it funny how she was very quick to throw Whitney under the bus for "starting trouble" when SHE was blatantly the one starting trouble. Again. UGH. And Jaslene annoyed me last night, too! Since when is she such an expert? She was WAY too cocky, and I didn't like how she put down Lauren. She started in the exact same place so she's no modeling guru

Ewwwwwwwww! That meat was NASTY looking, I can only imagine how it smelled. And then they show Tyra just cutting a piece of meat. How come she didn't get dirty like the rest of them? You know she had to take a picture of the theme that week, and none of theirs are as perfect as hers

I still don't really know anyone's names but a few, so I have no favorites. I still don't like the makeovers.

I thought it was gross (were they all "sharing" the meat panties and meat bra) and wasteful. They wasted all of that meat and I didn't think the photos looked editorial or edgy.

Whitney's looked kind of funny (like it was a joke photo that you took at the mall and had a choice of photoshopping in a strange background and "clothes"), Claire's did have neat angles but it wasn't great. I thought Kat, Weird Anya and Stacy Ann did pretty well. Lauren did an EXCELLENT photo. Dominique's was not bad.

When they did the walk-off at the firehouse, and later the fashion show, I would have loved them to give constructive criticism to the girls (although Miss Jay may have done that - you could tell that firehouse scene was heavily edited) rather than just say - you're great, you stink. I am so dying to hear them TEACH the girls something.

A head's up for all my ANTM watching friends...due to basketball, Survivor is also being shown tonight. You may need to adjust your recording devices accordingly.

I'll be watching Survivor and taping ANTM, so if I post tonight, it'll be late.

And, just for fun, does anyone else try to say ANTM or do you say the whole thing? I've been saying "Ant-im" everytime I type that out. Slightly Dorothy-esque though.

Poor Marvita! I think she just gave up b/c she was feeling too insecure.

Dominique is such an abrasive weirdo.

I didn't think it was so surprising that Whitney could do a split - being a little big doesn't preclude flexibility.

And how amazing was Claire's prize - Bora Bora! Is that they best challenge prize ANTM has ever given?

I was really hoping Dominique did awful last night. I really can't stand her, especially how she talks about herself in the 3rd person. She's like "Dominique is a great model and Dominque is going to bring it" Why not just say I am a great model Ugh, I really hope she goes home soon.

I felt bad for Marvita, but I don't think she ever looked like a model. Claire is my favorite this season. I like Whitney and I don't think she was making a joke of the challenge. I think she was trying to do stuff to make herself stand out. I also thought Vendela was a huge witch with a b.

I think this is turning out to be my least favorite season. I think this show is finally done.

I never really paid that much attention to her until last night - man is she annoying!! You aren't all that, honey!

I usually like the episodes with Benny Ninja, but last night's was a big yawner.

I never really liked Marvita until this last episode...She was funny all of a sudden and they send her away!

And Whitney thinks she's perfect, too. When Mr. Jay said she had a pretty face, she was like, "I know." I believe in confidence, and I think all of the girls have it, but Whitney and Dominique are cocky about it. How immature was that whole racist ordeal??

Of course Tyra had a picture of herself with paint all over...And it was the perfect picture. She's always talking about eyes and certain looks, but to me, she always has the SAME exact face on. I could mimic her face by now.

I call it Top Model, but when I see ANTM, I think of Auntie Em from Wizard of Oz

Okay, I just saw the episode.

Fatima is slipping in my eyes. That crotch move was low rent.

I am still not a fan of Dominique, but she did take a nice photo. If there was more to her accusation to Whitney of being "racist" I'd like to know what it was. From what I saw, that accusation was way off base.

I am glad both Claire and Lauren did well. I like both of them. Stacy-Ann also took a nice shot, and I like her more when I hear her speak less.

And, um...Marvita's photo...with the shine on her nose and that sad, sad look in her eyes, it really reminded me of those horrible 70's clown paintings. ( I think I called her "the littlest Hobo" at that point....) I knew she would be leaving, but I hope she does well for herself.

I thought it was RIDICULOUS that Tyra took Lauren's shoes! Does Tyra not have enough money that she could buy a new pair of shoes? Or at least ASK Lauren before she just took them?

That was all written. Tyra didn't actually take one of the girl's shoes, it was done for "comic effect" I don't know who writes this show but that part was ridiculously stupid!
