Vonzell was good, but I don't like her for some reason.

4. Vonzell-- "People"-- Good song choice, but she sounds a bit flat on some of the notes. Not one of the best tonight.

5. Anthony-- "Climb Every Mountain"-- Also a little flat on some notes, but a good song choice. A pretty strong finish, though not one of the best tonight.

First, I have to tell you all how much I absolutely LOVE musicals!

However...
This week is so tough for me to listen to! YUCK!!!! The only one that I've liked all the way through the performance is Vonzell...wow!! Didn't know she had that kind of range and it's nice to hear her be consistent pitch-wise throughout the whole song!

Now that Anthony is done...well, The Sound of Music is my very favorite movie...ever. I knew he couldn't do it credit, but he did okay until that last note at the end! BLECH!

Scott is in my bottom so far...did NOT get that song he sang.

Vonzell: Not as wow'd as last week but again very solid. Bold to pick a Barbra song..

Paula: Sit down you ninny... BTW, I drink my liquor through a straw too...

Anthony: sorry, very theme park for me.... he just doesn't do it for me...

Paula: did you see her Poision Pill ring?! Skull & cross bones.... must flip open to hide her Vicodin!

Scott was just plain bad and I can't get over his past even with the new fancy suit! A superficial makeover won't cut it for him. I think it's his turn to go home - he needed an amazing performance to make it past his background.

Constantine was surprisingly good - really like his performance - and I liked that he could laugh about his corny bedroom eyes lovefest with the camera.

Carrie I found boring and wishing it were Jessica instead.

Vonzell was really good - she's got a career in the music business ahead of her even if she doesn't win AI.

Anthony was so-so. I found his song very very short! And the band was too loud and he relied too much on the back-up singer to carry him through the power notes. If Scott wasn't going home this week, it would have been Anthony's turn.

The Sound of Music is my favorite as well.
I don't like Nikko doing this song, either.

Didn't care for Nikko or Anthony tonight, but Vonzell sounded Awesome!!

Nikko - Certainly made the song his own (R&B) but I agree with Simon, seemed a bit out of tune to me...

I hope Bo wows us!! Anwar better kick it up or he's going to be some stiff competition for Scott - by far the worse so far imo.

6. Nikko-- "One Hand, One Heart"-- Consistently good throughout; one of his best performances so far. I loved the finish. He's giving Carrie a run for her money tonight.

So far I think Anthony sang the worse tonight. Constastine, Carrie & Vonzell did a great job! Nikko's song??? Kind of confusing.

I agree...Nikko's song was confusing...I like Nikko's smooth style, but this was a bit boring for me even though he tried to interject his own "style" in it at the end.

All I can say is-GREAT JOB, ANWAR!!!

Thought Bo's song was a bit yucky...though he sang it well.
