Awww, I think they should have given the singing student (the one who's teacher got through) a chance. Yeah, he was overdoing it, but with a little training that could be toned down. I liked his personality and thought he had a good voice.

OMG Some of them were so horrible I couldn't even look at the tv screen!!!!

So 57 went from last nights show and 32 from tonights show. Already that's a lot of people to send to Hollywood!!

Hey guys - I had to go pick up DD and I only caught the first 20 minutes - please, please, please fill me in!!!!

I did see the triplets (I thought Simon was a big jerk for saying they were fat - they were NOT fat) and the singing teacher and the Osbourne guy, and the horrific Over the Rainbow girl. I think that's it.

I felt that the triplets sang pretty well. And Simon ALWAYS gets on people for their weight.

But I would like to have seen another Scary Mary!

But really did anyone think those triplets were FAT? I would agree with the one girl's description of "curvaceous" - but fat? No way.

I wonder how many teenage girls who are close in body shape are right now thinking of ways to lose weight fast. Simon should stick to grading the musical talent and leave weight out of it.

I am so mad...I had to work late both nights and missed almost all of last nights and all of tonights. Last night I came in at the 5.9 guy. I've got to get my kids to remember to tape the shows for me when I have to work late.

i LOVED the triplets. they could sing and i thought they were beautiful....not FAT. how come simon never tells the guys that they are fat? i don't remember him ever being so blatant to reuben, and he weighed as much as almost all three of those girls. not fair...
i'm so glad asia got through, i really liked the song she came in singing tonight. what about Joe from the cruise ship with his fan club....that was embarrassing to watch

I think they should have had the triplets each sing solo, and judge them that way! It's weird the people that Simon chooses to point out as "fat"! There were a lot of people on there much bigger than those three that he said nothing about!

I'm bummed because a girl I went to school with was there, and they showed her for about 1/3 of a second during the part about all the people making friends, but they didn't show her sing! I want to know if she made it to Hollywood or not!

Is anyone else getting kind of annoyed with 80% of the show being the awful people? They're funny to watch, but when most of the hour is awful singing, it starts to drive me nuts!

I liked the young teenage blonde girl from the farm that sang the country song. I think she sang well; and has the looks.

Was her name Carrie? I didn't pay attention to her name before she sang.

It was kind of funny when the triplet was talking to the camera and said so she weighs 160. The "sister" yelled back 150 and your on camera telling that to everyone.

It is kind of mean to laugh, but some of them are SO far out there - it would be impossible not to. Like Mary Roach - there is simply no way I could have kept a straight face. No way.

I had to choose between a new episode of Lost and AI4, so missed tonight in St Louis. Can anyone there sing?

Maybe that's why Lost is giving us a couple weeks of re-runs - so we can watch the other network!

OK - tell me about Asia. And Joe. Details please.

asia was a little 16 year old girl who burst into the audition room doing this michael jackson-y melodic rapping thing and she was so much fun. the judges said she sounded like a chipmunk when she sang (she DID have a high voice) but i thought she was a great performer and really enjoyed her voice. i don't even usually enjoy r&b/rap music, but she was great to watch.
Joe came with his entire family, who were all waving banners and signs for him. and he sang, and he was okay, but then he started yelling at simon when simon said he wasn't good enough, and they had quite an argument. i was very embarrassed for the guy....some people don't know when to quit.

I think that if Joe had kept his mouth shut, and not been so insistent, he might have made it. He didn't even let the judges speak. Simon asked for Randy's opinion and Randy said "yes". Then Joe opens his big mouth and asks Simon what he thinks. Uh, hello!! If you had let Paula speak, she might have said "Yes" and then you would be going to Hollywood. Now you're not.

I agree, I think the triplets should have gone in separate. They don't accept groups, so why go in as one?
