And to me, Constantine isn't arrogant at all. Instead I see him as a strange mix of confident and self-conscious. He knows he has talent, but he doesn't know if he's good enough. Watch him when they're booting people off, throughout it all you can see the fear.

I agree. I don't see him as arrogant.

Welcome. I looked it up when it was first announced he made it to hollywood. I think there really is something attractive about him.

After listening to Constantine's band and Bo's band (sugarmoney.net), I've figured out the difference. Both are talented, but Constantine's band plays a heavier, more current type of music. Bo's band sounds more like classic rock ("It's Freedom Rock, man!"). The heavier, current type appeals to me a lot more.

I'm just LOVING the guys this year!! I have so many favorites, I actually VOTED for 7 of the 10!!

I am light years from a rock afficionado but I have to say I LOVE BO!! All of my friends love him, too.... all R&B people who have "converted"!

Anwar and Travis can sing the phone book for me ... eye candy to the nth degree.... sorry Constantine doesn't do it for me, though. But I do understand his appeal, I'm just too ancient and AA...

I don't really like any of the girls this year... I agree with the person who wrote that it's a shame it's guys vs girls this time around, I'd get rid of 8 of the girls and keep all of the guys!

BTW, I'm sure you AI experts all know this but the phone lines open after the last performance in my neck of the woods. I always get in all my votes BEFORE Ryan announces the lines are open, then it's "busy signal city".

You have a good point.

I think Bo's Band is rather boring though very much suited to American Idol. Constantine's is darker, more gothic. I like Constantines better.

I hope when they get down to the final 12 they do less guest judge's nights. I just can't see some of these guys singing Gloria Estavan or Barry Mannilow. I like it when they stick to a decade. It gives them a chance to find a song that really works for them.

Guest judges are done. They were only in the audition cities this year.

Thanks for telling everybody! That's when (was! ) I get my votes in too. Never have a problem getting through (except on finale night - still mad that I could not get through for Clay even once after trying for 3 hours on 2 phones! ).

Sometimes I just don't understand the judges! Aloha just sang and I thought she sounded really good. The music overpowered her a bit, but I still thought she was good. Guess I gotta throw a few votes Aloha's way tonight.

See, this is what really fascinates me about this show. Such differences of opinions. Simon just thought that the girl that just sang "Broken Wings" gave the best female performance so far this year, and I thought it was lousy.

Simon has repeatedly told Mikayla to tone it down. It was nice not having to listen to her speak but honestly I thought her song was ghastly. My son (15 yr sophomore in chorus & drama) hollered down to me "Who is singing that awful song?" The judges always like what I don't. Nadia is on now and I don't like that song but she is singing it well (and in key which is better than some). Is she #6? I missed the first or maybe first and second. I started watching on Lindsey. I hope I haven't missed Carrie.

I agree. I didn't think Mikayla was all that. Her voice still irritates me. I think Nadia is a better singer than Mikayla.
