Yes!! I go there all the time to see all the reviews people have of all the contestants. I always want to know who people liked and didn't like.

Nope. Constantine will hang in a while longer. I'm telling you, he's got the girlie votes all sewn up. When he gets booted off AI, he'll be the next new detective on CSI. You watch.

Whoever said that he has the rough outside and cute inside is SO RIGHT ON! That's exactly what I see in him.

Everyone was raving about the guys last week and I didn't get to watch...but, with my class cancelled this evening, I was able to check it out.

What's the big deal with the guys? I thought they all sounded pretty weak. None of them sounded remotely better than 'good' and most sounded 'poor,' in my opinion. That being said, there was one guy that truly stood out.

Bo totally rocked. Whipping Post is one kick-butt song and when I first heard him start to sing it, I kinda laughed - Someone singing Whipping Post on AI after we've heard 8000 lackluster renditions of Stevie Wonder seemed really weird. But, Bo really could belt out this rock classic. How can I fault a guy that sings great 60s/70s rock classics and does so really well?

As for the others, I can't stand Anwar. What's the big deal with him. The only other guy that I thought was remotely okay was the first guy. Mario, I think. He was okay, but nothing spectacular.

Now, I really don't think Bo can make it all the way, but I definitely wanna see him go far. I think for some crazy reason, I actually might vote tonight.

Those I wouldn't mind going home (in order of dislike from tonight's performance): David, Scott, Anthony, Travis, and Joe.

I really like Anwar and Mario's voices, but I did NOT like their songs tonight. In fact, didn't really care for ANY of the songs tonight...yech!! Are they still going to have a disco/70's night as well?? Don't know if I can handle any more such music!

Last week I felt like there were only a *few* definite poor performances; this week, however, there were quite a few!!

And what was UP with Constantine and all the screamin'??! As my 14-year-old niece said over the phone minutes after the competition ended tonight, "I mean, it's not a *screaming* competition!"

I love the comment about seeing *Fame* everytime Mario is shown! *giggle*

Bo and Constantine remind me of Mufasa and Simba, Constantine just can't wait to be king but Bo already is. It's obvious Bo has been around awhile, learned who he is and what he does best and stays true to that. His experience shows. He has blown me away every time and I'm not a hard rocker kinda gal. Constantine didn't impress me from the very beginning.

I adore Anwar. He's the real eye candy to me. That's odd too because I'm generally not attracted to black men but he really does it for me. His style is very Marvin Gaye.

I really like Scott. He still looks like a serial killer but now a more polished serial killer

You know, the first season I remember they had an 80's night, and it was my favorite episode! So much fun....but I don't think they've done it since (definately not last year). I really wish they would bring that back (of course as a child of the 80's, i'm sure i'm just being nostalgic! but it was such fun music....)

here's my take:

Anthony - i think he jsut has a beautiful voice and a great story (that will get him votes)
Anwar - I really don't get it - he butchered Moon River last week
Bo - amazing - but I would like to hear him sing - I know he can rock - I want to really hear him sing
Constantine - don't get him at all - he looks strung out to me
David - I liked him in the beginning but he I think he is too nervous now
Joseph - Thought he sang great - but he doesn't wow me
Mario - I like his voice - but would love to hear some power
Nikko - i couldn't get over how much he looks like his dad - really liked his song
Scott - great voice - he looked so much better this week
Travis - I think he looks like the guy form Y&R too - he will probably get an acting contract

this week I think David and Joseph are out!

Man, the last part of the show knocked my socks off! Bo and
Anthony were AWESOME! I thought that Scott looked so much better with the beard and glasses... softens him up a bit, and that will be a good thing, as time goes on--- he is beginning to have a softer look to him... starting to remind me of Rubin! He is always great, but I wasn't a fan of his choice of song... he can choose much better! Anwar... what can I say.... he just wows me everytime--- and he ain't bad to look at, either! Constantine has done better, but I think he could make it to the final 6 guys--- I think he is pretty cute, in that heavy metal rocker type of way... and YES, he would be a GREAT addition to CSI.. a singing investigator... can ya dig it? He IS a classically trained singer, so I am looking forward to seeing what he can do on the weeks where they have to sing certain types of songs. I think that is where Bo may have a problem--- I can't imagine him singing Barry Manilow or Tim McGraw. I am trying to think who sang between Mario and Anwar.... he was a little weak, and also the guy with the shorter braids... has a great voice, but his song really didn't do much to showcase it. Mario always gives a great show. The guy that sang "All Night Long" really had it goin' on.... I think he had on a yellow shirt... much better than last week.

Too bad we can't just have an all guys AI-- I like the eye candy on there this year... much more interesting than in years past--- a real feast for the eyes and ears!!

Oh well, guess my husband will get his equal time tomorrow night with Amanda and Farmgirl.

I am so mad! I had to work until midnight and of course my lovely children did NOT tape it for me!!!! I have to work tomorrow until 9:30 and if they don't tape it I am kicking them out of the house! (just kidding)

Luckily I'm off on Wednesday so I'll get to see the results show.

Thanks for the link. I really like Bo. My dad raised me on the kind of music that Bo has sung the past two weeks and Bo's a refreshing change to the dreck that is modern-day pop.

Someone said something about liking the guy that sang "All Night Long" - While he may have been able to dance, I didn't think he could hold a note at all. Oh well, to each his own.

I have never really watched American Idol. But my daughters seem to love it. My problem with the show started a couple of years ago when both my girls fell in love with Clay Aiken. I didn't really care at the time. But then they bought his CD and proceeded to bombard the rest of us with this guy's horrible sappy song stylings.

But I have noticed that my daughters have started to show an interest in this Bo fellow. Well, from what I saw last night this will prove a huge improvement over Clay. I guess it shows that my girls are starting to mature a little. Maybe I will finally be free of Clay's boring ballads.
