Official Amazing Race 25th No Spoilers

I guess I'm in the minority since the dentists don't bother me. They play smart. Yeah, he comes off a little too full of himself but that's OK with me. As for the editing, you really don't know what kind of leading questions the producers ask.

I can't stand them, but you are correct, no idea how it's being edited or what questions are being asked.

Now I know how to herd sheep.

Jury is out on whether this is easier than herding cats.

I have five cats, and one of them is extremely hard to herd. :rotfl::rotfl: I'm also a victim of circumstance and would only own two cats if it wasn't for a 22 year old who can't say no. :lmao::thumbsup2

i thought that building the torch was like the easiest thing and yet those two wrestlers were acting like they were given two rocks and told to create fire. So stupid….

I love Bethany and Adam and want them to win it all. I didn't have a problem with the dentists until he kept bragging at the end. He should know better that Karma can come back and bite you in the &%$$.

I thought it was funny when the cyclists went to hang out in a pub instead of sleeping at the station. :rotfl2:

Finally the pony's were so cute!!!! Even though they got a little ornery. ;);)

I agree about the daughter.

I was wondering about this, too! I asked my DH if he thought that since Connor pretty much carried his team (him and his dad) last year doing the majority (or at least the hardest) of the roadblocks, that they wanted to put a stop to that? :confused3 I think they instituted a rule several seasons ago about having to do an equal number, but maybe they just couldn't monitor that in a way that the producers thought it was fair? I don't know.

Regarding the dentists . . . yes, the husband is getting a little too cocky awfully soon. Also, I don't know if he has some type of permanent discoloration on his skin, but his face always looks dirty to me. Too much bronzer against the blinding white teeth?

With the show having people with disabilities or limitations of a physical nature, I think they found that it may present an unfair advantage to teams without those limitations.

Example--one season, one of the globe trotters was physically too tall and was not permitted to do a challenge even if he wanted. (Pretty sure his size kept him from another challenge in another season.)

In another, the lady with prosthetic legs--I would assume those had to be removed if they came upon a water roadblock.

This season, Bethany has one arm. If they came upon a roadblock that physically required 2 arms, she would be out of luck.

And Luke is deaf--so roadblocks dependent on sound may be a problem.

I think lacking ability is different. But a physical limitation over which you abbé no don't have any control may present an issue when a physical challenge must be decided upon a witty clue.

All for inclusiveness, but by doing so, they cannot really have the rule of equal number of tasks for roadblocks that would require a time to have their differently abled partner do a task that is literally impossible.

Sorry if I did not word that well.

I thought it was funny when the cyclists went to hang out in a pub instead of sleeping at the station. :rotfl2:

But wasn't it closed and they just danced outside of it because it was like 5:00 in the morning.

I do remember that one season they instituted a rule where they each had to do an equal number of roadblocks. Some teams saved the more physical ones for the men. I think it was because in the season before, one man of a man/woman team did the majority of the roadblocks.

After that one season of making the roadblocks equal, they dropped that rule.

The dentist is a great player, just to bad he can't keep his arrogance in check. He is on Facebook and he is commenting on the shows. And, he is arrogant on his postings too.:rotfl: While in college he was a body builder and competed and he says something to that effect, why he is on the edge and is calling himself one of the best players to be on TAR. I have a feeling the dentist's are going to make it far in the game.

I am team Bethany/Surfers. She should have invested in better bra's. You get to a certain age, and it is about the support, not the looks anymore.

I know what I'll be watching for all next week now. I am remembering a little extra pep in her steps and there was something bothering me, but I couldn't figure out what.....I bet this was it! Rofl

Whatever their profession I like the wrestlers and I also like the surfers.

Looked at our guide and looks like AR is preempted in my area by a gubernatorial debate.:mic:

Oh crap, on a Friday nite too, who the heck watches that stuff. We started taping TAR and Survivor, we can't stand all the political commercials.

And since we get our stations out of Green Bay up here in the UP, it looks like it's the Wisconsin Gubernatorial Debate. Who should I vote for Mari? :rotfl2:

Like the surfers, I want them to win it all!!! :thumbsup2

Oh dear, now I don't want anyone to get eliminated! I want them all to win!:flower3:

Edit: Aww but it does seem a little unfair they didn't have to give that up!

Shades of Luke! That was an interesting little temper tantrum from an adult, although the teammate wasn't any more mature :sad2:

Agree.
But I still like them. Although I have added everyone else, especially the cyclists now, to my "like" list. I really didn't expect to like those girls, but now I do.

Favourite lines this week: "Just kidding!" (sandwich customer to Maya when she gave her the sandwich and the customer said it wasn't right) and "We got our teeth knocked." from Misty:rotfl: Humility goes a long way. :thumbsup2

The way that mother/daughter team was behaving, they both needed to be slapped upside their heads. Where is Jethro Gibbs when you need him? They have made #1 on my wish list for elimination.

Last week I said the dentists needed to be taken down a peg or two. Looks like that happened. I doubt they'll be as cocky from now on. At least they don't snipe at each other.

From next week's promo, it looks like things might start getting nasty. Something Iike that taxi skirmish in the first episode, except with the mother/daughter team.

Maybe the challenge should have been humble pie.

That memory challenge. Eek! Girl dentist has an excellent attitude. I would have crumbled in a pile of frustration.

Momma bear seems to be sabotaging even if her daughter is being a brat. Quite frankly it seems a bit manipulative on both their parts.
