I apologize if this has been asked and answered already, but are there typically any room discounts/dining discounts during this time frame? It looks like most of Feb has been offered as a Bounceback in the past (we'll be there in Dec) but wasn't sure about anything else. Thanks!

Here is a link to past discounts. I plan to hold out for something. Maybe someone in our group will even get a pin for FD. Fingers crossed.

Thanks! With two trips so close together, a discount is pretty much going to determine where, when, and how long. It's gonna be a first "girls only" trip and I'd like to get more than a day or two in!

Hi I am new to the board. I am planning on running the Princess half marathon 2015 and want to get into the Glass Slipper Challenge. Anyone else getting nervous with how fast these races are filling up?

Yes very much so, especially when I saw how quickly the Star Wars races sold out just the other day! I plan to sign up for the Princess Half & the 5K which I'll run with my daughter & a bunch of friends. I plan to do the GSC in 2016. So excited

Hello all!! I have been stalking this thread since March but just joined. I hung up my running shoes in 2002 and have had 2 kids since and after my mom had a heart attack in February, decided I needed some motivation to get my booty in gear!! What is more motivating than a race that includes a family vacation right?!?
I was doing really well with keeping up with my running until the past month and life happened... Kids got sick, then I got sick, I had a leg injury... Blah blah blah. Gotta stay motivated - my biggest issue right now is that when I get past the 3 mile mark my brain keeps telling me to quit, that I am not strong enough... Should I hang up my hopes for the half and do the 10k instead?? How do I adjust my frame of thinking while running... This old gray mare just ain't what she used to be!!

I will need to register for my 2 friends as well as myself when it opens for the Princess Half. What info do I need from them since they won't be with me? Also, what are the chances of it selling out in that first day?

You will need names, address, credit card, shirt sizes, maybe even phone numbers? I imagine the half will sell out the first day, if not the first few hours. The Disney races are now a hot commodity and sell at a brisk pace.

All the above is right. You also need to know their favorite ). It determines the background color for the bibs. I think you might need emergency contact info, but I could be confusing that with another race.

Can anyone tell me which background colors for the bibs go with each princess? I'm guessing blue is Cinderella, but don't know which princesses are given as choices and would be curious about the colors. (Is it wrong to pick my favorite princess based on what color my bib would be? )

Excited to find this thread! (Although I only got through 14 pages before I skipped ahead to the end ) Just signed up for the SW 10k at DL. Wow, is registration stressful when you know it sells out so fast!

My partner and I did the Expedition Everest this year and are now hooked on runDisney. The Princess was to be our first 1/2, but I think we are going to test our legs locally with a 1/2 in November. We will see how our training is working! Using Galloway, of course.

We are also planning on the Tink in May, so we can get our C2C medal! Yeah! Would love to try the W&D or ToT, but will have to see. The cost sure adds up fast!

Do you think it is safe to assume the Princess will have early registration for AP holder since the SW registration did? Can any AP holders out there tell me how it's done? Online? Over the phone? We will be visiting DW three times in 2014/2015, so I sprang for the APs. Really want to take advantage of the perks now!
