"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

The last party I attended, it was in 2019. Every cookie tasted the same with the exception of the peppermint cookie. IIRC, they only offered that, snickerdoodle, sugar and chocolate chip, which tasted nothing like chocolate chip.

How were the cookies that were included with the 2024 party ticket?
I didn’t try the cookies last year because they always seem to disappoint.

I am soo exicted for the parties! Can't wait to see what if any different characters will be meeting, any different outfits, the food. They haven't even announced everything for MNSSP yet though!

Thinking of maybe having an early dinner at one of the Bay Lake Resorts quick service before 4pm, to not waste any party time and just snack at the party. Any recs?
We really like Gasparilla Island Grill at Grand Floridian...Capt. Cook's at the Poly also has some good options!

Per vloggers (I’ve pretty much seen most of them from last year waiting for the tickets to drop) the pretzel cookie can move from Columbia Harbor house to a tucked in location near Peter Pan.

You bet we will be hunting for that one, red velvet and gingerbread. I’m not a big fan of chewy caramel but like sweet and salty combos.

Btw last Dec we got free Cheryl’s frosted cookies (1 per person) on Dec 24 at the Poly lobby and a small cup of the POG juice (around 1:30 pm). They said they usually give out cookies during Thanksgiving and Christmas (didn’t notice them on a previous NYE trip). I initially thought people were purchasing alcohol and just walked by. I didn’t notice the nametag until now - Charyl

We did the Christmas party on the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 26) in 2023. I just purchased our tickets for the Sunday after Thanksgiving (Nov. 30), 2025 and the increase in price was $21.30 per ticket. I figure part of that is inflation of prices and part of that is this year's date is closer to Christmas for us....but we're still very excited to go!

And since we purchased discounted Disney gift cards at BJ's Wholesale Club to pay for part of the tickets, we're almost made up the difference in price from 2023 :)

Just want to share my mvmcp-buying horror story (with a happy ending). I am going over Thanksgiving week and because of other activities I have to do the party 11/26. I got online this morning around 7:45 and the only date it would let me book was 11/30. I completely panicked thinking maybe 11/25 and 11/26 sold out. I called and was on hold for the longest 20 minutes of my life before a lovely cast member saved me and booked the tickets for me. The website must have just been having a glitch that it didn’t capture my full resort stay for my eligible dates.

I had the same issue, staying the same week. We're actually leaving the 29th but the only date it'd let me book was the 30th so it didn't even fall during our stay dates. I haven't tried again but hopefully they fix the glitch.

Same here. It was the 30th the website would have let me book. I recommend you call because I don't know that the glitch on the site will get fixed. I did refresh a few times to see if it would fix itself before I called.

My family just got back from a trip yesterday, so we’re going to be working out some details for our bounce back, but we’re hoping to do the party either 11/13 or 11/14 (with maybe Jollywood 11/15?). We’re currently leaning towards 11/13 just because it’s $10 cheaper a person.

The glitch was in the app. If you logged in from the website you could still purchase. I purchased and saw the tickets in the app once around 9 am est but then couldn’t complete my purchase. Extended family had to go though the website as well. We are going 11/26 and I thought it stopped recognizing us as having tickets (temporary moment of panic).

This is disappointing as we use the app for purchasing LLs and it’s going to be a nightmare booking for 7 days if they still have glitches like this.

It seems like Thanksgiving will be more crowded this year.

Helped a relative get tickets for our party of 8 earlier (trying to do it on a phone while abroad was not going well). It was obviously quite pricey, but none of us have ever been and it seemed like a good festive option to get us in the mood for our Merrytime cruise a few days later.

Trying to decide between 2 party dates during our trip. It's either 1st party of the season (Fri) or the 2nd, (Mon), the day before we fly home. Fri would be over 100 more plus I assume it will be super crowded with vloggers. DH is not thrilled about a late night before departure day, but I think it'll be better to save the $ plus less crowded. Whose side are you on :) Fri or Mon? BTW it'll be our first MVMCP.

All parties will sell out so I would not anticipate there being much, if any difference in crowd levels.

People often worry about the first party being crowded with v-loggers but a quick survey last year of people st the first party and their experience was that only 1 or 2 even saw then.

These parties have thousands and thousands of people at them so v-loggers make up a minuscule number of guests at the party.

If it were me I would not let that play into my decision.

Choose the party that works best for you.....you will be fine. :)

Vloggers are usually more concerned with shows, characters, the food especially and such. Even if there are 300 vloggers in the park, that is just a drop in the bucket.

Considered buying tickets for early December for my family of four - two adults and two kids over 10 - but I had sticker shock at the price.
Deep, deep pockets!

Disney sent out a survey a few years ago asking if guests would be willing to pay more for smaller party crowds. My friend lives in Clermont and spends a lot of time in Disney and goes to multiple parties a year (both MNSSHP and MVMCP). She said the crowds/lines have been smaller the last few years compared to the past....it is possible that could be the impact. Higher ticket cost, but perhaps 5000 less tickets, for example.
