Anyone have an idea when food for HHN might be announced? It's only 2 weeks until the first events.

Anyone have an idea when food for HHN might be announced? It's only 2 weeks until the first events.

They usually don't. We've just waited til the menus are posted on the booths and all the people take pictures of them.

Last year was different because they had that food festival or whatever it was called that bombed hard.

That's frustrating! I can only be there 1 night, and it's like the 2nd day of the event, so I'll have almost no ability to plan what food I want in advance :/ Gaa! Thanks for the heads up!

They will probably start doing the test cooks next week. Maybe this week.

Hmm.. Hadn't heard that anywhere... Kind of bummed if true, but not a huge deal

I think the stilt walkers contributed well to the scare zones. Will miss their presence going forward.

This is yet another missed opportunity by the Universal marketing team.
I guess they can save money by not doing anything and letting the influencers do it, but I just don't get it.

They took forever to add houses and scarezones to the website.

Same for the Dead Coconut Club, looks like its going to be Blumhouse, and I only know that because one of the Influencers mentioned it and posted a photo of the sign. I've seen nothing anywhere, but I also dont dig to deep into there site because its not very good.

I get they are focused on Epic, but HHN is their biggest event of the year - every year.

Doubt any. They'd have to pay to staff it all day plus make all those foods. I like it's exclusive to hhn.

Yes, I have an idea. A couple of Stilt walkers were knocked down last year and the year before.

People were running up in front of them for photo ops and the others had to do with drunks.

When you fall from those heights you are going to get hurt

I don’t blame Universal or the Stilt walkers if they are not there this year.

The Scare Zones were smashed with people last year and year before so that might have been an issue too.

The safety of the Scare Actors should be paramount.

It is sad when a few who cannot follow the rules or handle their alcohol and won’t keep their hands to their selves and ruin it for everyone.

Yea I wouldn't be surprised. Last year was the worst season I've been to since I've been going

This is why I'm honestly glad there isn't a big time IP. Stranger Things and TLOU brought out some terrible behaviored people

That is unfortunate. I'm guessing it was early in the season when everything was crazy busy.
If that is happening then protect the SAs no doubt.

Ya and also generally (not all the time) the originals are better than IPs. So I'm excited to have 6 this year.

Though the rumor was we have 6 because UO lost Nightmare on Elm Street late. Would like a freddy house. I haven't been to a hhn thats had one of the other two of the big 3. Just Halloween

yeah for the most part the original houses are better but often those "last minute: houses are not great and Freddy would have been a very good addition this year.
