Good to know, the only characters our girls care to see are Jack & Sally!! Kids, I still can't figure them out. How were ride wait times? We are going on Tuesday the 10th, if it isn't rained out..
Ride times were great too. Tiana was around 30 all night. Didn’t do Tron but talked to others said it was around 30 as well. 7 drawfs was super short most of time too.

Will say that do NOT try to ride Tiana’s just after either parade passes that area. Lot of people watched the very start of parade from across from Pecos/country bear then booked it to Tiana’s

Thanks. Will keep that in mind.

Can anyone tell me how long the wait for the following characters?

Minnie. Goofy, Donald, Daisy

Pooh and Friends
We waited about 40 min. for Pooh and Friends during the fireworks.
Minnie and friends was 90 minutes at 7:00; this wait time will show on the app.
It may be a good use of time to get in line for one of them before the party starts. We opted to get in line for Tiana at 6:00 instead.

Can you get the dessert party on the Tomorrowland Terrace?
It's expensive and time consuming, but to me it is worth it. You don't actually have to spend any time eating if you don't want to. You can just check in and get your band. I am paying for the garden viewing spot, not the food and drink. (The food and drink is not great, just acceptable.) On Tuesday Aug 13, I went to check in directly after the parade -- the line was long. I recommend you wait until that initial line clears out. I went into the Garden around 9:40 and secured my favorite spot -- against the rail that is around a bush all the way inside the garden. On Friday Aug 16th we didn't check into the dessert party until 9:15 and stayed until about 9:50. I didn't get my favorite spot, but I was just a few feet over, leaning on the rail along Main Street. People sat on the ground while waiting and were instructed to stand about 5 minutes before. On both days the garden was probably less than 50% full. You could have laid down and done snow angels if you were inclined. It is easy to get out of the Garden after the FW.

We spent a lot of time at the party, but you absolutely do not need to. I needed the rest and I am only interested in the parade, castle show, FW and non character photo ops. I have the time to "waste" at the party.
May be a a silly question since it is a “dessert” party🤣. But is there anything other than sweets served? Any savory items. I know some fruit and cheese. At one time years ago they had the spring rolls. But I heard they don’t serve those anymore at the party.

Interesting DP indicating in might be possible for military to get access to sold out parties. Not conclusive imho as they submitted for them after they saw it sold out the day the party sold out but certainly worth trying to get tickets via SOG if you find yourself in this situation and you qualify. ETA- and that’s Negative. Someone followed up they just tried this and it’s not the case anymore. It used to work so they were surprised.

I just noticed there's no Snarling Sub meatball sandwich this year. That was on my list to try. :sad2:

Does anyone know what time they stop the line for character meet and greets? Do they stop people from getting in line at, say 11:30-11:45? or is the line open until midnight?

Cheese and some ...the word is escaping me...thinly sliced crusty bread, the kind served with bruschetta. Fruit - strawberries, grapes, pineapple, cantalope. No spring rolls.

Has anybody heard / seen the time they start allowing people to visit Minnie & Donald by chance? We're trying to decide between Stitch or them first. Thank you!

We actually did this and it worked out great! However, we watched from the corner by Tiana's so we were able to quickly book it over there before the rest of the crowd. The line definitely grew behind us.

Has anyone gone on Space Mountain with the overlay this year? Last year they had everything turned off except the tower lights at the top on, is it the same this year or was it in complete darkness?

Minnie/Donald/Daisy/Goofy started meeting right around 6:50 on the date we went (Tues 8/20) . We were 4th group in line and we were out front just before 7. We got in line at 5:45...I'd say the line really started growing a little after 6.

Same this year. We "had" to go on it twice because when we were on it, some (insert your own negative word here) had their phone flashlight on while they were riding People mover and it ruined the darkness aspect of the ride for us.

We were at the rained out party, but here's what we managed to get done:

- Arrived at MK around 3:40ish and got in the line. We used my umbrella as a shading device like many others.
- Knocked our Pirates, Tiki Room, Country Bears, and Thunder Mountain by 5:30
- Got in line for Tiana
- We were about 20ish people back from the front of Tiana when the rides closed due to the weather. We didn't realize that it was actually raining until after we got out of the line (we waited about 30 minutes or so after they closed the rides). The radar kept changing so we had no way of really knowing it would be raining for the next 3 hours.
- We waited out some of the rain in the Critter Coop
- Walked over to and rode It's a Small World
- Had dinner at Pinocchio's Village Haus
- Rode Mad Tea Party (rides started coming back online while we were in line)
- Rode Tron (fireworks started just as we were getting off, so we didn't have time to get over to the HUB to see them from the front of the castle)
- Rode the Little Mermaid ride
- Rode Haunted Mansion
- Watched the 2nd parade from Liberty Square
- Hung back and waited for the crowds to dissipate and the parade to get all the way down Main Street before we made our way that direction.
- Walked through the Emporium on our way out
- We stopped at several spots for trick or treat between the teacups and when we left.

All things considered we got a good bit done, but we were both disappointed to not ride Tiana. It was up when we were over in Liberty Square watching the parade, but neither of us had the energy to go over and get in line.
