Personally we like starting with Party's....Trying to pick a date, I have two and a half MK days planned for our trip due to our trip being 9 days. Wanted some input, what would be better? Ending the first full day at MK on Tuesday with the party or ending the last day at MK on Friday with the party? I haven’t been so don’t know what to expect really.
I wanted free pretzels! LOLNope, we get free cookies and hot cocoa.
We haven't had any trouble doing a mobile order at CHH (Columbia) or PVH (Pinocchio's) - normally we do that around 4:30-5:30 on a party night.I hadn't considered the wait times for quick service. I booked us a 4:30 ADR for Skipper Canteen.
I think there are free snowman pretzels, eggnog and hot cider, too... at least there were previously...I wanted free pretzels! LOL
4/9 is Easter SundayEdit to ask opinions on 4/1/23-4/11/23 or 4/8/23-4/18/23
Same party! See you there, also stalking the weather all my days look wet! We had a semi rainy Halloween party, we had ponchos and during rain jumped to dry spots inside. I brought extra socks and sandals, I hate wet socks and shoes and that always gives us blisters! Our party day is Thursday, 11/10 (so excited!!). Anyway, even though it's early I'm seeing rain in the forecast. Any tips to still make it a magical night in the rain if it does rain? I'm going to make the best of it either way but am hoping to keep my kids as dry/comfortable as possible so we can enjoy to the fullest.
what is Springtime surprise weekend?4/9 is Easter Sunday

It depends how you gauge crowded. Ride waits are typically lower than your average day in the park... though on Party days, ride waits seem to be very low during the day. Even though ride waits are low (for MNSSHP this year, we had walk-through to 10 min waits on everything except 30 min for SDMT), there are a lot of people around. That said, we (five of us) were able to walk right up into the hub (straight out from Crystal Palace) about 15 mins before fireworks and had great views of the projections on the castle. Lots of people, but a little space and breathing room. Also able to see parade without haven't to snag a place an hour in advance. So how crowded are these parties on a sold out day, compared to an average 7 or 8 crowd level on a normal non party day?

So for us, definitely lots of people, but waits significantly lower... and feels less crowded at fireworks and parade. We love it.
