Any announcements about a dessert party on NYE yet? Tomorrow morning is just for xmas party dates, right? I would like to book a dessert party for NYE

Tomorrow is just for dessert parties during the party. No announcement regarding NYE yet. I'm looking for that date too.

Some of what happened for the candlelight processional was if you were staying on site and within your booking window it would show you the ADRs as soon as they were loaded, which was a little before 6 am (was it about 5:30 or 5:45?). If you were staying off site and looking for an ADR right at 60 days out, you couldn't see the availability until right at 6 am. But if staying off site and looking for anything under 60 days, the ADRs should show up right when they are loaded. I'm not sure if I've expressed that well or if it is more confusing. I think there also might have been some glitches too for people that should have been eligible to book but had trouble.

Ahhh - we were trying to figure it out! I was staying on site and within my booking window... guess that is why Disney gave us a little leg up since we weren't able to reserve 60 days out... wonder if they will do the same with the MVMCP dining/parties tomorrow? Though, on the thread we were trying to figure it out, I thought some of the folks staying on site booking within their window didn't get in until 6 p.m.

Some people (like me) prefer the Plaza Garden View because it's closer and more centered (being less expensive is a bonus). Others prefer to have seating throughout. While the seated view is definitely off to the side (over by Tomorrowland Bridge), it is nice to have seating if you need it. I have done the Treats and Seats seated view only once, on New Year's Eve, when I wanted to be up and away from the massive crowds. Otherwise, I always do Plaza Garden View. I just prefer that view.

Do you hang around in that area after and wait for the parade? Fireworks are typically at 10 correct? Second parade at 11? I just don't think I can justify the cost for just fireworks, that shoot UP in the sky, that I can see for lots of places. I'm not sure I "have" to see them on Main Street. If that makes sense...

Just booked the Terrace party for 12/6. I forgot until 6/20 so I was nervous, but I could have booked either at that time.

I got mine (11/17), terrace, but am not sure I’ll keep it. No one’s mentioned this that I’ve seen, but the wording (“a glass of sparkling wine”) vs Treats and Seats and the Halloween FW party (“Drink selections will also be available, including an assortment of beer and wine”) makes me think the alcohol is going to be much more limited. It’s expensive enough to do these without having access to multiple glasses of wine during the event.

I bit the bullet last night and got tickets for MVMCP for Dec 22. We just have to see the holiday fireworks. I was hoping to be able to book the dessert party this morning, but I guess I have to wait until next weekend due to our date being the 22nd. I'm going to do the plaza view option.

We did MVMCP a few years ago (2017) and it wasn't quite what we expected. I mean, it was and it wasn't. Now that I know what it's all about, I feel better going in. This has really hitched my excitement up a notch!

Yep, same - plenty of time to bail on it, but once they’re sold out, that’s often it. That’s my solo night before meeting family the next day, so I’ll be easily identifiable if we’re all there.

I set my alarm for 5:30 a.m. and they were already up... wonder if this was one of those middle-of-the-night drops. I stayed up most of the night for CP dining packages that didn't become available until shortly after 5:30 a.m., so this time I just set a 5:30 a.m. alarm.

Yes - but the fireworks parties and Cinderella Royal Table are prepay... so if you cancel in the allowed timeframe, you get a refund.
