Just a reminder for folks....
The Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party at MK now includes beer/wine, and it looks like from the description this will continue for the MNSSP Tomorrowland Terrace Dessert Party: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...fireworks-dessert-party-tomorrowland-terrace/
The Plaza Garden Viewing Dessert Party at MK does not include beer/wine, and it looks like from the description this will also be the case at the MNSSHP Plaza Garden Viewing Dessert Party: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/d...pooky-spectacular-dessert-party-plaza-garden/
For thread regulars, no mention on either party’s webpage about parade viewing.![]()
That's generally the unofficial accepted time but as with every year they might decide to change it. Usually we have to wait until the first few parties report back to really know for sure. I'm not sure if there's been any indication that it would change, though, so it's probably a safe bet to assume 4pm is still good.I purchased tickets, but I only see 7pm party time on the website. My digital tickets in the app doesn't give any entry time. Do we know if party ticket holders will get in at 4pm for parties again?

Thanks for the info. I'd imagine they wouldn't want all party-goers at the tapstiles at 7pm!That's generally the unofficial accepted time but as with every year they might decide to change it. I’d wait. Our family needs to decide if we want to attend on 10/8, Thursday or 10/9 Friday. The $5 difference isn't the issue, it's the anticipated crowds..... hmmm decisions decisions....![]()
Yes, daytime crowds are definitely less on party days (but maybe not to the level you see at DL). I avoid MK at all costs on non-party days during party season! It's a madhouse, especially in the evenings with people wanting to see HEA. Party days are much better crowd wise.We made our plans and bought our tickets completely forgetting about the holiday on 10/12. I hope that doesn't negatively impact the party too much!
In DL the party days are empty in the mornings. We hit all the major rides in the first couple of hours with no wait. Because no one wanted to go and use a ticket when they would either leave early because of the party or could wait until 4 to get in for the party. Is that something you see at WDW too?
Thank you! Yes, the one non-party day we were at DL I had to keep stopping to breath. You couldn't see the ground because it was wall to wall people. I have never seen a park so packed! We're going to AK and Epcot on the one non-party day that happens during out trip!Yes, daytime crowds are definitely less on party days (but maybe not to the level you see at DL). My MIL called this morning to get tickets for 10/25. She called me while she was on hold because the person she spoke to told her it was sold out. I immediately went to the website and bought tickets for that day. Just an FYI for anyone else this may happen to. I told her that the cast member she spoke to and was on hold with obviously had no idea what she was talking about. I knew it wasn’t possible that the one particular day we can go would have sold out that fast. Looking forward to another MNSSHP! Now to decide which family themed costumes to do!
I was actually thinking the opposite...that more people might hold off on buying tickets until last minute because of Coronavirus fears and how it could impact travel plans over the next few months.I have this strange feeling that these are going to sell out quicker this year than people think...
.....okay.I was actually thinking the opposite...that more people might hold off on buying tickets until last minute because of Coronavirus fears and how it could impact travel plans over the next few months.

Hopefully by my trip in October we will either be dead or vaccinated...
What's silly about what I said?Exactly. This board gets sillier every day.
I didn’t think you were silly. Don’t be upset. Hugs! I was being sarcastic, but I’ve been told I’m too caustic and should be nicer. What's silly about what I said?Wasn't trying to be controversial at all. Just saying I wouldn't be surprised if people hold off on buying non refundable party tickets for 6+ months from now until we see how things shake out with this virus.
I agree. I also think when you’re going in a week where there are 3 or more parties, the pressure is off to buy. You can afford to wait. So you might as well.I was actually thinking the opposite...that more people might hold off on buying tickets until last minute because of Coronavirus fears and how it could impact travel plans over the next few months.
