Official 2017 Star Wars - Light Side Half Marathon Weekend (Jan 12th - 15th, 2017)

I'm running my first DL race in May and I was wondering if anyone has family/friends doing the Spectator Viewing party. I'd love to hear a recap of how it was and where viewing in the park was located. I'm still stalking the rundisney site for when they hopefully will finally open it up for Tink weekend so I can purchase for my sis

I downloaded my waiver today and saw my bib number is in the 36,000s! I know the 10K corrals aren't out yet, but that sounds like it could be the last corral. I submitted a pace of 11-12 min/mile, but I did register last minute in mid-December so I wonder if that affected my placement. Looks like I better not stop for any pictures!

I registered in October with a 14-15 estimated pace and my bib number is in the 34,000's for what it's worth

Thanks DizneyMommy! It looks like they may have done it by registration order. I was in the next to the last corral at the Tink 10K last year and I had a difficult time getting through the bottlenecks. I was too nervous to stop for any pictures! Looks like it will be the same this time.

I was just in Naples last week and had to go back to the frozen tundra, also known as, Chicago. I leave tomorrow for DL! Can't wait.

I am not getting to Anaheim until Friday night. So jealous of all of you already on your way! We aren't going to the Expo until Saturday - slim pickings by that point I'm sure.

My sister and I have our costumes. I am going as Maz Kanata. My sister was indecisive for a while but settled on Leia - that became an easy decision.

I found a jacket I missed during the first two days of the expo on Saturday morning after the 10k during Tinkerbell weekend last year. Don't despair - a lot of locals won't show up until Saturday morning at the expo

Just keep going back to the merch cage. You'll be amazed what they manage to find!

Yay! I see a few things I want like the ornament, the tank top, and maybe a couple of things! My husband wanted to know where the jackets were as he thinks that vest is ugly!

My parents have a place in Naples so I go to visit when it gets cold in the north. And yes, that Ornament is awesome. I hope they have some left.

Ornament, vest (!!), tank, magnet, several shirts ... I like a lot of the merch; luckily I'm only doing the 10k this year, so I don't "allow" myself to buy items that say more than 10k. HA.
