DHS for us is:

TSMM
TOT
GMR
RnR

That can be done in just a couple of hours. This time we will be adding all the Star Wars stuff for my grandsons but still don't think it'll fill an entire day. Need to be there early to sign up for Jedi Training but I know they'd like Fantasmic. We'll take a nice long break at SciFi. Is the HISTK playground still there?
I think the playground is gone.

I'm very hesitant to share this because I really do not know if it means anything at all however I wouldn't want to withhold possible useful info from the group. I just found this while randomly searching for some, ANY, clues regarding FD. Once again, this says NOTHING AT ALL ABOUT FREE DINING for 2017 but the dates they have listed under "Attractions", "Disney Tickets", and "Value" are current and seem similar to FD dates in the past. I know that the opening page says 2014 but the upper right corner with the US and spanish flags has today's date. Also the "disney tickets" section in the above mentioned section separates tickets for this year into value, regular, and peak. I remember reading here that we've learned some very useful info in the past from these half english/half spanish sites. So there you go--just don't hold me to any of these dates or yell at me if they're wrong. I know they are grouped mostly by 3's so they are probably not the real dates but it gives us an idea of what "some people" thought would be slower times of the year. Remem

Does anyone else have to book their work vacation days a year prior? My husband has to pick his vacation for the following year usually in Nov. If I was ever hoping to get the free dining promotion I assume we should pick a week that they've offered it most years historically and hope for the best?

And since you all are the only ones who will listen, these are my TS plans!

With FD:
T-Rex - will book this for arrival day thru Open Table - no penalty if we don't get there.
Tusker House Breakfast
RainForest Cafe - don't have any near us
Liberty Tree Tavern
SciFi Dine In
HDDR
We will eat off site on our Universal & Sea World days.

No FD:
We will keep TH, LTT & SciFi and will eat off site & CS for the rest.

Thanks for listening!

So, do we think it means anything or is it just some random dates?

Those are the 2014 FD dates. I think that is most likely an old article from 2014 and the date at the top right is a current calendar that updates for each page each day.

Edited to add maybe I am not seeing everything you are seeing

I'll be the wet blanket. People get points for sending pm's about that deal. So I would tread carefully. The travel agency in question is not to be mentioned here as per Dis rules.

People get points? I have no idea what that means.

And yes this site is run by a travel agency so you can't mention their competition. I have never figured out why a 90s looking forum run by a travel agency became the go to place for all things disney. Lol.

I do! Is he a letter carrier? I am and this is exactly what we have to do.

You get points for naughty behavior. At a certain amount of points you get booted.

I got points once for saying a certain 3 letter word for rear end and replacing the s's with money symbols. I thought I was turning a bad word into an appropriate substitution while still getting my point across but it turns out it was considered just as bad. They were nice about it I learned the error of my way. No more points for me.

Oh, what the heck. I'll ask for the PM as well. :)

On another hand I do have a question. Keep in mind this is all hypothetical.....

Say that free dining opened up on Dec. 9, and we arrived on Dec. 8. Am I correct in thinking that we could do a split stay and book a single night to cover Dec. 8, then book an entire package to cover the FD from Dec. 9 onward?
