Ok I need some clarification.
I am in AZ so we do not have daylight savings time. When it says that the call center opens at 7 am Eastern time., that would be 4 or 5 am here. Is that why I have heard so many ppl say that the new deals come out around 4 am? Or do they come out at 4 am Eastern time so 1 or 2 am here?

I must be a Disney nerd, I just added the number to my cell phone


I also know somewhere back there was someone who said what goes first.
Pop goes first but what normally go next?

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear this and I will be praying that all goes well and what they saw is nothing. I went through breast cancer with my mom 12 years ago and she had a double mastectomy too. She's been cancer free ever since. I'm hoping you have the same good news!

Thanks, and I just checked some app it said its midnight eastern time now. (I hate this whole time thing I always do get confused.) But we can not call at 1am, we have to do it all online. That I am not sure will work for me but we shall see I know I will be calling the moment I can the day I see it. Unless my TA is also up at 4am eastern time she did say she would be watching for it and had others she's working with too lol so I think she may be watching more than I thought.

If you have a reservation with a TA they have to do it for you anyways, unless you want to try and book a new res online and cancel your existing one with the ta. From what you've posted previous though she sounds like she's on the ball

I know if we get even a day or two ahead , of confirmed dates or hotels from our resident Disney Fanatics here, we all will be on the ball hehe.

Fairly certain it's a UK offer as it's advertising a 14-day Ultimate ticket. US only has 10-day as the max before you get into AP.

Wish they would give us Canadians some deals like that.

I have seen how fast it went on that post. I am going to make a second reservation on my own If free dining drops. it also looks like ppl who predicted the free dining would be released on those days last year were right. So I think we will know and gives us time to plan.

I am wondering if I need to move my 200 (for deposit) over from one account to my Disney visa.. is it worth it? Can I make a deposit with one card and pay the balance off later with a different card?

Memory Maker is priceless IMO. First time we had it, was for our group of 13, I was able to link it to all of us on MDE. Owning the pictures at no additional cost is awesome. Using the Disney filters is a blast too. We edited maybe 50 pictures in there. Then I downloaded all 778 pictures! It include some ride photos and videos! As long as I'm at Disney with my kids, I will always get MM.

On most of our trips it is just my husband and me and I still get Memory Maker. Love it!

You will know when it's going to drop and most of the details several days beforehand, black and Steve are right on with the info.

You can pay however many ways you want to. Gift card, credit card, bank card. i know online only takes so many gift cards at a time. But Disney gift cards have a sight where you can combine them to one card.

Thanks! I'm just really paranoid that sports will be booked full & I try to book there & while I'm trying to get sports the last rooms at pop will be getting booked. All this waiting is giving me too much time to think of the what ifs...

Last year I needed 2 rooms for myself and DD and my parents. Got ASMu, but only 1 room for FD. Then after a few days got both rooms, then probably a week later got 2 rooms at POP. I have always been able to get my FD at the resort I want days or weeks after. People who booked start changing rooms, and rooms open. Just need to check or have your TA check often. I get up early every day so I play around with it. Get what you can, then change rooms when another resort comes up. First day of drop is nuts but when the dust settles it can work out. One year I'm pretty sure it was month or more later as I made a last minute decision. Good luck, I won't be getting FD I'm pretty sure as I'm going over Columbus Day weekend. But snagged a good deal for me and DD, 6 nights at Pop, 5 day park hopper and an extra day at either water park for free.....total came to $1529.....about $450 less than booking through Disney.

It's so strange that you and others have posts like this on here today (actually yesterday --it's after midnight now!), because I've been debating whether or not to share on here my own situation. I decided to, though, because I wanted to thank everyone here for being so friendly and helpful, and such a welcome distraction from my medical situation. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, had a double mastectomy, and finished radiation 2 months ago. I was told that I have a good prognosis. However, I go to a neurologist for chronic migraines, and Friday they saw something that makes them suspect I may have a brain tumor. I have to get a brain MRI, but they have to set up a surgery for me to take out the tissue expanders (part of the breast reconstruction process) first as the expanders have magnets or metal in them, so have to wait on the MRI. Anyway, if I didn't have this board to look at every day, I would go nuts! Sorry to be so . I'm actually a very positive person -- that is what has helped me through all this, that and my wonderfully supportive DH and other family. . . so on that note I am wishing for FD for everyone!

So dumb question...but historically, did POP require a specific room type for FD? I know PH was required, but I prefer a standard room...quiet is more important to me than pool...hoping for back side that faces Hourglass lake. Anyway, I've got a preferred booked because I assume they want you to have the more expensive room type. I am hoping to click the change reservation button and chose the FD option when (if) it drops for my dates...hoping my room type is okay so I don't have to change too many things...experience or thoughts?

I have always been able to get a standard room at POP for free dining since 2011.

No, I booked the Savory Summer Deal. I thought now that the room discounts are out for my dates and the Canadian Ticket offer would be better than what I had booked. I thought I had selected the Canadian tickets, but I didn't check out, so they weren't added when I posted about it a few days ago. It looked like it was a better deal but really wasn't since the tickets weren't added onto the discounted room rate (which is still higher than when I booked a few months ago with the Savory Summer Offer). So far, nothing beats the Savory Summer Offer for me. Not sure FD, will beat it either since rack rates are higher, and tickets have also increased. Will check though when FD is announced.

Every time I see Savory Summer Deal, I think "Mmmmmm. Savory. Cheese & bikkies. Chips. Dip."
My weakness!!!!

DisKaren my mom is a 15 year survivor after Stage 3 breast cancer with lymph node involvment at 49. You've got this. I will continue to send you good thoughts and you are going to have a fabulous trip!

I'm not sure why I feel compelled to share this, it's not something I usually talk about, but the reason this trip is so important to me and my family is my daughter was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. While there is no cure, she is undergoing treatment and we are hopeful that she will get better. But I booked this trip to give her, my sil, my dgs, and myself a chance to go to our happy place and make some good memories. Disney World has always been our fav vacation spot. Even with insurance her copays and other out of pocket expenses are costing a lot, so if we can get free dining it would free up some money for other things, especially MNSSHP.

Random question here for those who have already booked a reservation (no judgments please haha). Does anyone else have a strange code written in with their dining reservation and if so, do you know what it means? It's probably nothing but no CM can seem to, or doesn't want to, provide any explanation for. Just wondering.

Are you talking about the reservation number? There is one attached to every reservation. Not sure if this is what you are talking about.
