Still can't get RoL Dining package for TH in the morning. Was anyone able to get one for August dates?

I did get BoG booked for two mornings. I will cancel one for sure if I can't get RoL breakfast pkg at TH.

Ours also says "MYW package + dining$TY" and I have no idea what the "$TY" means.

To me it just looks like something got a little out of sync with the website code. I don't do almost any web design, but it looks to me like a variable that no longer exists but someone missed it in one spot when they did the update.

I really don't think it's anything to worry about. Just a formatting bug. Really unlikely to be something wrong with your package

So a new off topic question to pass the time..

What would everyone say are there top three dining reservations for your upcoming trip ?

I just made ADR's today and I so excited about them it ridiculous. I have:

Be Our Guest- Lunch
Be Our Guest- Dinner
Rose and Crown-Dinner
Biergarten-Lunch
Tusker House-Dinner
Prime Time-Dinner

And it will be food and wine too! They are going to have to roll me out of there! Or worse-I'll get stuck in the exit like Pooh! pooh:

I'm not sure why I feel compelled to share this, it's not something I usually talk about, but the reason this trip is so important to me and my family is my daughter was recently diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor. While there is no cure, she is undergoing treatment and we are hopeful that she will get better. But I booked this trip to give her, my sil, my dgs, and myself a chance to go to our happy place and make some good memories. Disney World has always been our fav vacation spot. Even with insurance her copays and other out of pocket expenses are costing a lot, so if we can get free dining it would free up some money for other things, especially MNSSHP.

Terri
Terri,

I'm glad you shared, I will be praying for your daughter and your family.

Our reservation has the $TY as well but we are staying at th CBR and receiving GC.
Hmmmm; they might be marking the dining reservations with GC at CBR with a $TY: could that possibly mean that CBR might not be included in FD and are coded as such on the reservations? Just taking a stab in the dark....I hope this is not the case at all...:confused3

I would guess that the $TY means a GC Thank You?

I don't know what's going on with my TA. I booked with her in September, haven't heard from her once since. I told her when I booked I wanted to try for FD. I emailed her in December about a question I had, got no response. I emailed her last friday about her trying to get me FD, still no response. I have a very expensive package booked through her and I feel like I deserve a response. She told me when I booked that I wouldn't be able to get FD because availability is so limited, and also that she won't book any offers until her work day starts at 7:30. I almost feel like she's avoiding me so she doesn't have to try for FD. So, obviously I'm going to try to get FD for myself since I can't rely on her. My question is, if I cancel my trip through her, can I cancel and get my deposit back from Disney or does it have to be through her? I'm afraid I won't be able to get ahold of her to get my deposit back. Sorry about the long post!

This is crazy. My TA (Ally with Dreams-she rocks) sends out semi-monthly newsletters with updates, Disney news, and her favorite tips and tricks for enjoying the parks (I think since she just had a baby last month she has baby brain because she made a point to give tips in one news letter for ways to enjoy Epcot when you cant do a lot of rides). Even when she was on her 6 week maternity leave she sent emails and updates when ROL opened and discounts were announced. I have had 4 emails from her this week since my ADR window was opening (she also was up making my ADR's the second they opened and got me everything I asked for. I would not want to book with someone who didnt have time for me and didnt want to deal with my wants and needs. I need to feel good about my vacation from booking until departure-I sacrifice all year year for it and my blood sweat and tears are worth more than someones apathy.

Ok I need some clarification.
I am in AZ so we do not have daylight savings time. When it says that the call center opens at 7 am Eastern time., that would be 4 or 5 am here. Is that why I have heard so many ppl say that the new deals come out around 4 am? Or do they come out at 4 am Eastern time so 1 or 2 am here?

I must be a Disney nerd, I just added the number to my cell phone

I also know somewhere back there was someone who said what goes first.
Pop goes first but what normally go next?

The phones open at 7 am eastern but free dining went live at 4 am eastern. That's 2 am mountain time for me so basically I stay up watching Disney movies waiting for free dining to drop. So much excitement I wouldn't be able to sleep anyway!
And we disnerds stick together!

My suggestion would be to ask at BOG when you arrive at MK, someone else on this board was able to get a reservation by doing that; also I managed to book a lunch reservation at BOG the night before at our hotel on the Disney App; guests cancel reservations the day before as they do not want to be charged for the reservation the next day :D
The moment you walk into the park try and get the reservation! We walked into MK a week before Christmas and got CRT for 9! :)

?
I think the mods will go first, especially any standard rooms, with POP being a very close second, then All Stars and AoA, then the deluxes (of course any standard rooms that are included going quickly).

I am praying for your daughter. She is lucky to have you.

It's so strange that you and others have posts like this on here today (actually yesterday --it's after midnight now!), because I've been debating whether or not to share on here my own situation. I decided to, though, because I wanted to thank everyone here for being so friendly and helpful, and such a welcome distraction from my medical situation. I was diagnosed with breast cancer last year, had a double mastectomy, and finished radiation 2 months ago. I was told that I have a good prognosis. However, I go to a neurologist for chronic migraines, and Friday they saw something that makes them suspect I may have a brain tumor. I have to get a brain MRI, but they have to set up a surgery for me to take out the tissue expanders (part of the breast reconstruction process) first as the expanders have magnets or metal in them, so have to wait on the MRI. Anyway, if I didn't have this board to look at every day, I would go nuts! Sorry to be so :offtopic: . I'm actually a very positive person -- that is what has helped me through all this, that and my wonderfully supportive DH and other family. . . so on that note I am wishing for FD for everyone!

So many amazing people with stories to share on here, I have to say that I love to hear these stories of strength and courage, and the things that help bring magic into lives where things are hard for many reasons.

Thank you for sharing your stories everyone

Wow! I'm so sorry to hear this and I will be praying that all goes well and what they saw is nothing. I went through breast cancer with my mom 12 years ago and she had a double mastectomy too. She's been cancer free ever since. I'm hoping you have the same good news!
