Ugh, same. I've mentally anchored myself in at an "ideal" price on SW or we will drive. Why am I so frugal cheap?

Thanks for the link. I tried it and it brought me to a different page than I originally had. However, it still said I had to call next to every item I could change. Wondering if this is because I'm booked with CBR.

CBR is not showing any vacant rooms including the pirate room during my stay. I am going in November.

11/19-11/27 is showing some opening for Water and Garden views. But anything around this time booked.

BRIEF HISTORY FROM 2016. Looked back at the 2016 thread. I tried to capture the highlights for you all. By April 22nd...a Friday, there was an Air Canada offer that people were sure was going to be the exact offer for US and predicted to be announced on Monday. After 250 pages of chatter, a new thread was created for all the weekend warriors, all waiting for Monday at 4 a.m....the predicted day of the announcement. Then came Sunday night, and there were about 105/106 pages of people trying to stay awake, watching and refreshing pages. It seems some folks saw things before other's, refreshing pages etc. Then folks started to see an advertisement at the top of the page announcing FREE DINING with a link, which wasn't yet working. Other people were asking, "where did you see this!" So people continued to stress, reporting changes on MDE. Some said pages were frozen. People kept refreshing pages, again and again. Everyone was reporting different things they were seeing or not seeing. It was intense! Then by page 140 someone created a Facebook page so folks could continue to chat when Dis boards went down for maintenance. Next thing happened on page 143! The offer went up on MDE at 4:05 a.m. Monday morning.

Me neither. I have to book flights the day they're released by southwest or I will pay a ridiculous fare....

I'm in the same boat. I'm trying to figure out whether to book flights now or wait. The $ and point values keep going up and I'm afraid we will lose the flights we want. SW seems to be offering a lot fewer nonstop flights. I asked them today if they will add more flights and they said maybe or maybe not. Ugh. Come on Disney release the dates already!!!

I have a reservation with old ticket prices, water parks and more, and CBR is booked during my dates which also means the $75 GC currently. So unfortnalty for me I don't feel comfortable to just to rebook a new reservation. Every situation is unique and that is mine.

But if you switch to free dining, you will pay current ticket prices with whatever add-ons they require, and you may lose the $75 GCs. Make sure you do the math for those possible options before FD drops, so you know what it might cost you to get free dining.

Yeah, I'm guessing modify button or not, everyone will be paying current prices for tickets/package. And since the $75 GC deal is gone now, my guess is they won't honor that if you rebook or modify to FD.

Everyone should be prepared that what they may have now won't have any effect on the FD deal, whether they're able to modify or have to rebook. You'll be paying the full, current price, with no $75 GC.

Then if by chance we're wrong and you can "double-dip" it's just a bonus!

If disney don't honor the gift card with FD..
Than why do we need to book CBR with FD. and stay in construction zone. they couldn't have offered 75 for smaller distractions.
We can book an another resort like CBR or POQR.
CM clearly told me that this compensation for staying in the resort while constructions. Any future discounts can be applied if available

And it might be the case. But I'd just be really prepared if it's not! This is a very unique situation that I don't think anyone's dealt with before, so it's all speculation. That's why I wouldn't bank on being able to do both. If you can, great. But be ready to be told no.

And just because a CM told you that doesn't make it so! CMs are notorious for wrong information!!!
