Star Wars hotel= no pools???
With the level of immersion they are going for (i.e. No windows in rooms) I would think not. Unless it's indoors.

Or get stalled off Broadway like Hunchback of Notre Dame still bitter about thatno no! no no no I mean like old broadway!
I wish you were right either way though
Indoor like Shanghi maybeStar Wars hotel= no pools???
Also what will this look like if they do the usual cutbacks? I hope that its a fully immersive experience but it wouldn't surprise me if things change. This will be so interesting to watch...the idea has already morphed from "wacky" to "crazy" in many ways...once questions started coming.
Did they announce a timeline for this? Could this be a conjectural feeler that they are taking directly to the market in that context?
Ignoring the whole weather part of it....With all the families with little kids do you think Disney would be more inclined to have completely enclosed cars for the gondolas, therefore AC would be needed?
I would hope they would be enclosed with AC! Who would want to be up in one of the gondolas in the summertime.
You could swim in Darth Vader's bacta tank.Star Wars hotel= no pools???
Nothing like walking around a park all day sweating like a dog and then stepping into a freezing bus its like disneys version of ice therapyEither way I plan to be on the often overly chilly buses.
dont even joke about that!Did anyone hear if the new Fantasmic is coming to HS? If so, the timeline? With Star Wars becoming the dominant theme in the park, makes me wonder if there is a future for Fantasmic at all in HS.
Or Yoda's swamp. Don't drain the swamp. Sorry, couldn't help myself thereYou could swim in Darth Vader's bacta tank.
its happeniiiing it has to!!Or get stalled off Broadway like Hunchback of Notre Dame still bitter about that

I feel like it would be a lawsuit waiting to happen with all these children in high up moving gondolas with large open windows.

I would think they will be enclosed. Less of a chance of someone falling out.It looks enclosed.

This is a pretty good article on it, but bear in mind much is still unofficial.

As for @lockedoutlogic, Of course we've been to Orlando.
The Doppel Mayer cable cars are a popular feature in Vietnam and they are not air conditioned. The fear/hesitation about this is definitely an American thing. I'm sure whatever they come up with will be done well. There will still probably be a lot of guests who avoid it out of fear/lack of expected comforts, but there will be just as many or not more people happy to use it.
What is crazy about it? I think the part that's confusing people is they don't understand that this is not just another resort. It's a special immersive experience. People don't know what to expect because they have no frame of reference. I'm sure it will become clearer to those who are confused over time, but there are a lot of people who just don't understand that this will be a limited, special, enclosed experience. This will be so interesting to watch...the idea has already morphed from "wacky" to "crazy" in many ways...once questions started coming.

They will definitely be ventilated, I think the person I responded to was worried about people falling out of windows.Looks enclosed but in the upper right of the car you are "in" in the picture, it looks like screening like would be for a vent
