I don't know remember the peoplemover has that salon scene comeback to life and what happened to all those villagers again?I'm thinking of the village scene from B&TB now.

Here is my theory: if the ride IS mary poppins themed, it won't be announced until after Mary Poppins Returns and lives up to the idea that the naysayers eat their wordsNo news about Mary poppins ride at U.K.?
if theyre going to build gondolas, they shoudl replace their monorails first....THEN build the gondolas! And if they go with the detachable gondolas they will be easy to remove and replace when needed.
thats what I thought at first but what better time to put the monorail down for refurb than when new transportation has just opened upif theyre going to build gondolas, they shoudl replace their monorails first....THEN build the gondolas!
except the gondolas arent running to MK and EPCOTthats what I thought at first but what better time to put the monorail down for refurb than when new transportation has just opened up
true but because of the hype and more bus availability because the gondolas would be running I think they would be able to make up the difference. Right now if they took down the monorail there would be a thinner spread of buses but the spread would be better if it was done post skylinerexcept the gondolas arent running to MK and EPCOT
This. Just returned from a trip on Friday and only one time was the park open until 11. Last summer, it was every night. The 10pm close sucks and definitely is me paying more and getting less in terms of hours. Before someone brings up the EMHs at Pandora...just stop. Post-July 4th, the only things open in AK are those two rides and the shop/QS in Pandora. That place is a nightmare before the EMHs with some people still in the rest of the park and just as bad/worse during the EMHs.You should absolutely have a problem with that one...because the magic kingdom daily attendance has risen to a level where a 11-12 close is 100% warranted in the base ticket.
I was there a few days the week prior and MK closed at 10pm (except for shops) and it definitely was a bummer. I was also in AK for the Pandora EMH. I just took my night photos and watched the tree of life awaken a few times. Definitely hope hours are adjusted eventually, especially with all these amazing additions! I won't have time to fit everything inThis. Just returned from a trip on Friday and only one time was the park open until 11. Last summer, it was every night. The monorails are still safe even if in rough shape. They won't replace them until necessary.if theyre going to build gondolas, they shoudl replace their monorails first....THEN build the gondolas!
Ooh, maybe a button or a special cupcake for purchase!![]()
If the PeopleMover isn't safe, we riot. Period.
This makes me feel 100000x better! So you'll only see them crossing from U.K. to France??
Were there any specials guests at Hercules? We had Whoopi at Lion King.BTW the Hercules musical is CONFRIMED, here's hoping for more of a hercules presence in the parks too!
Yup. People think these things have to be high up in there, but they don't really have to be. There's no reason that they can't keep them low enough behind France.
And the real fact is, if they were above France, it would totally throw off the depth perception thing with the Eiffel tower...you would be able to tell exactly how tiny that thing is. So they HAVE to keep it below the eye-line of everyone.
Also, all the people saying that the Gondolas won't have AC are full of hooey. The truth of that one is that no-one knows for sure, but I would bet $100 right now against anyone that they are not going to send people off in those things with no AC. It would not be difficult at all to have small portable battery powered units on each car that they charge each night. Not to say it will be STRONG AC, but it will won't be 120 C in those gondolas.
I find it interesting that the Guardians ride seems to be on a FOUR year construction plan. That seems hard to believe. Gotta think it's 3 at most.
Awesome to hear, thanks for the reassurement! The only thing I'll say is that at the Parks panel yesterday they looked pretty open air so I hope you're right. The pictures are what scared me with the bright colors and open air look
IIRC, for the 25th they gave out replicas of the opening day Guide Map. Buttons were also free.I'm likely going to be in Epcot that morning as well. I'm not a D anything member so I'll get the stickers & soap bubbles! Will be interesting to see if Epcot has any branding out that day.
