I was told earlier that those of us running the 10K will find out what corral we're in when we pick up our bibs at the expo. They don't release the assignments early for us. Which is a bummer we have to wait, but the wait is getting shorter.

I'm so excited to leave on Wednesday! Even though the hubby and I are just doing our first ever rD 5k (first 5k ever, actually) we are so pumped! Kids are doing the 1 mile on Friday as well. I've been training since September and am wishing I would have registered for the 10k! I think I see that in my future!

Question about corrals for the 5k, are they randomly assigned, or is it based on when you completed registration? Also, is there a place for spectators to sit at the finish line?

I know, right. Such a cool idea to make a long run easier. I think there is a way to draw a plan ahead of time and then feed that to some app that tells you directions as you run....if not, then I need to make that app. (Copyright, 2016)

The half race course markers are down! Drove by water stop 5.7 today.. So countdown is on!

You didn't happen to see any with BB-8 on them did you...I am still in a lurch deciding which outfit to wear which day. My Rey costume is much more involved so maybe that one for the half...aaah I can't decide! Can someone just pleasssse tell me if/where/when BB-8 will appear so I can make a decision!

They are addictive, so GL to you You will see your corral when you pick up your bib. For both 5k's I have done they were based on anticipated finish time that was input when you registered (no proof of time needed).

THEY ARE! DW and I had planned on Star Wars and Wine & Dine, for the C2C medal... Then they came out with Dark Side, so we gotta do that... Then, oh, what-the-heck, so I finalized rooms for Dopey today... And we can do our anniversary after Princess next year... AHHHH!

Seriously, after that we'll travel somewhere else to run. Really. We mean it.

Sadly due to timing and life I had to cancel my dark side trip. Only out the bib as we will use the ticket on our September trip and everything else was booked through refundable methods. With our older dogs dental surgery tomorrow and both my fiance and I being on the very beginning of a sickness we were actually dreading this trip. We have never dreaded a Disney trip but just the stress of the weekend was bubbling up as all our plans slowly fell apart yesterday and today. Our dog sitter was being flaky for the older dog who will be on the last 2 days of pain pills on half the trip and I feel like I have the start of some nasty bug. Sore throat, weakness, stomach cramps, and just general ick. Guess I really am not doing a runDisney event in 2016.

Thanks. She will probably have at least 2 teeth pulled. I think my anxiety over her surgery is actually making me sick more. I just can't stand when my babies are under. I called the vet 3 or 4 times during the day after the puppy was neutered. I'll be a nervous wreck tomorrow until I get the call that she woke up okay and then the one later when they say she can come home. IDK why my fiance thought 2 days before a trip was a great idea to schedule this since he knows I get so worked up over it but he is 100% sure it'll all turn out okay.

Last Chance for Group Italian Dinner on Saturday for Solo Runners

So, due to injuries/canceled trips, we have lost a couple solo runners that were going to our small dinner meet-up this Saturday. We are now down to only three remaining. Before I change the reservation from 6 to 3, I thought I would toss out the option one more time to anyone who wants to join us. Here are the details:

4:00pm on Saturday (nice and early, so we can still get lots of sleep before the half)

I know for Disneyland races they don't show the race TShirts until the first day of the expo; is this the same for WDW? I was hoping to be able to wear them while there but it's hard to pack outfits when I don't even know the colors!!
