Someone on a facebook group just posted 10k & half course maps that look legit, so I'm guessing event guide is coming out soon.

Oh, man, that makes it worse! It might be my work computer; it's been a bit persnickety lately. I'm using Chrome (error message) and my IE just crashed. Ugh.

Try it on a different device. I can see this on my work computer, but when the Princess program was available, I could only see it on an iPad, but not on a computer or iPhone.

Question:
"Directions to Epcot ® (10K and Half Marathon) on Saturday and Sunday:
Take I-4 to exit 65 (Osceola Parkway West) and follow the signs to Epcot . Guests
coming from (192) are strongly encouraged to follow signs to Disney World via the
World Drive Exit because there will be SIGNIFICANT DELAYS starting at 3:30 a.m. due
to road closures. For Guests driving to Epcot ® on Saturday and Sunday, EXPECT
SIGNIFICANT DELAYS! Roads begin to close as early as 10:00 p.m. on the evenings
before the 10K and Half Marathon."

That seems to be a lot longer than just taking Epcot Center Drive from I4? For those of you that know... I'm guessing there is a reason for going Osceola Parkway, then (I'm guessing) over to World Drive and then back onto Epcot Center Drive?
Is there a reason why I-4 to Epcot Center Drive isn't better?

EDIT: I see it in the Event guide. We are running down Epcot Center Drive.

I got it on my cell. I also was worrying about if I had submitted my POT or not. While I was searching my phone for a specific picture, I found the screen shots of the POT submittal that I took and showing that my time had been updated. I should be in I for the half and C for the 10K. Let's wait and see.

For the half, we are in front of the Beach Club around 2 miles and then up the path to HS. I hope that isn't going to be the nightmare I think it will be. I don't remember much thinning at 2 miles.

The Event Guide (link posted above) states that there will be bus transportation from Epcot to WWOS (bolded language on page 10).

It appears that there will be several ramps and overpasses. Spikes in the elevation profile seem to indicate roughly at miles 4, 5 (x2), 6, 10.5 & 11.3.

It looks like just outside of DHS is a ramp, then a ramp onto Osceola Parkway around mile 5, and then after Animal Kingdom the ramp isn't terribly steep but the cant of the road can be tough.
