I feel like all the D&B bags have been awesome this year!

When I went to the princess expo on Friday they only had the small bag left, but plenty of them. Someone had returned a letter carrier and they were putting it back on the table, I'm sure it went fast. So I would agree if it is a must have I would preorder.

Me too! DH can't get off work so I either have to go alone Thursday or Friday or wait until Saturday to go with him. I really don't want to miss out, but I'm not ready to do that craziness alone, Lol.

I have to admit...I am sadly not sold on these I like the colors, I like all the dark sidey-ness going on. But, I wish they had references to the new movie. And I am not sold on the big stormtrooper being so prominent in the pattern. If they had done something little like making the lightsabers the Kylo version, I'd be on board. But now I am just not sure! I want one for my first challenge though. So I guess it depends on if they have the tags.

Does anyone know if the latest princess or light side bags did in fact come with tags when they got them?

Princess bags all had tags. I expect that the two bags will have tags, but not the wristlet.

I like the current white/mint trim pattern sold in HS better i think. But that wouldn't necessarily remind me of my first challenge...darn the decisions!

I have a question for all of you that have run a Disney race before. I signed myself and children up to run the 5K back in September. Well, I've had some serious health problems since then and will be unable to run it. I know it says it is nonrefundable, so I was thinking at least I will get a tee shirt out of it. We are still going so the kids can run. I hate not calling and canceling because if someone else wanted to race I would feel bad they couldn't. Thoughts?

Seeing as Star Wars - Light Side is crazy for expo merchandise - I'm sure here at Walt Disney World will be just as bad, if not worse.

At Light Side, people were already lining up early! We arrived at 6:30AM and were in the 3rd row across the Disneyland Hotel Ballroom. A person at the end of Row 1 had arrived around 5AM. At Light Side in 2015 (Inaugural) - we arrive around 8:30AM and were farther back and I know they were sold out of a few things when we got in (although luckily a friend from the boards was ahead of us in line and got me my Sweaty Bands!)

Dark Side being inaugural, being Star Wars, and being RunDisney will be just as bad. If you want merchandise, I would head there first before you go to get your bibs.

My husband and I won't be arriving until at least 2:30PM on Thursday so I know we will be out of luck on some items. I do have a friend that will be there at opening that I will ask to pick something up if we like how the jackets look for Dark Side Challenge/etc. We'll risk what we get for the other items. Luckily, we got a lot of stuff the last two years at Light Side that hopefully our wallet won't take a huge hit this time around but I doubt it, especially if they have Boba Fett stuff.

I got to this years wine and dine opening day an hour or two after opening and got everything I wanted, I do not believe any items were sold out yet. Though, the tank tops were getting low in number. That was one of the crazier expos I have seen too. I also got my PHM dooney last year at around the same time frame (what can I say, we always plan on 10am but it turns into 11! And I have a weird tick about getting my bib first, makes it real). They had maybe a couple of dozen of the crossbody left at that time and lots of wristlets. I think only a few of the totes though.

They don't have a waiting list or transfers, so there's nothing that can be done. I hope you feel better soon.

Princess 2016 was insane opening day. Women got into actual fights over merchandise and it was a huge hot mess. If you want to read some of the drama - read that thread starting when the race weekend started.

Wine & Dine isn't a huge merchandise draw as Princess or Star Wars.

I read the Princess thread you were talking about, @Dis_Yoda. The stories were just insane. I keep kind of hoping that this won't be quite as crazy. I know that the Star Wars Celebration store at the conventions can get nuts, but I don't think I've ever heard of fights. I'm kind of hoping it will be a bit more like that - stuff will be gone, but people will be semi ok about it.

It's getting pretty real now. But it still doesn't feel real. I confirmed Magical Express yesterday on the phone, but still no tags in the mail just yet. Figured I'd give 'em to the end of this week, and then call to check in next week. Just to make sure.

This bronchitis is finally starting to heal up a bit, but I'm not 100%. It's been cross-training, walking, and just taking it easy. That makes me nervous, but it's better than killing myself trying to run and tear myself down further.

Totally ready for this trip to get here already! (Well, aside from a bit more sewing to do on the costume.) I want to see a schedule and go look at things and run and be geeky!

As a woman - I hate to say it - but I think the x-factor with Princess is the fact that it's a women-focused race weekend, and women like to shop. So you have ladies that want to buy all of the things, and you have eBay sellers that know women want to buy all of the things...so the women crazed for merch + the eBay sellers that want to flip it and make a profit combine to make a crazy situation. I'm hoping it won't be like that for Tink, since Disneyland's official merch area is so much smaller and they only let in a certain amount of people at a time. At WDW, the rush for merch is more of a free-for-all.
