So far this is a rumor that has not been confirmed anywhere. My other question is it couldn't just be linked to magic bands since not everyone has magic bands that runs the races.

Week 12 of Dark Side Challenge completed! It wasn't pretty, but I did 3 miles yesterday and 11 miles today, finishing in the upright position. We're getting closer!

I would love for the Photopass rumor to be true, but I will still take my camera because it's so new there is no telling how hard it will be to find our photos. Better safe than sorry if they're rolling it out for our race.

I posted in another forum and have gotten confirmation that it's true. Some have said they saw cast members taking pictures during Princess so maybe that was a test? Also, purple magic bands are available!!!

I didn't have the best run this morning (15 degrees, snow and ice #MichiganProblems) but the purple magic band fixed everything!

Yay, ordered mine today for Dark Side weekend! As for the PhotoPass photos, I hate to sound cynical, but I highly doubt they'll be included for AP holders. Disney passing up an opportunity for extra cash? Snort. Also, they'd probably characterize the race as a special event, which it is, so we'll probably have to pay extra for it. Having said that, though, I'll be curious to see how it works during the races and how well the photographers do during a race situation.

I look at the race pictures being included with Memory Maker as a big money maker for Disney. It will probably encourage a lot more people to purchase MM who normally wouldn't. This keeps the money in Disney's hands instead of the pockets of the third party photographers of the past. I think it's a great idea and I hope it happens!

Yes, I'm an AP holder and have enjoyed our new perk. And I really hope that race photos are included for us. Has anyone done any special events (like Club Villain or MVMCP) where PP photographers took pictures that were included in the AP holder MM? That would probably tell us more on that end, since races would likely be considered special events as well.

We were actually thinking about getting Annual Passes while we are there in April, so I would like to see this perk added. That would be amazing.

As for the purple magic bands - are we talking these are available on the website for free? Because yay! I thought they were going to be selling them - not offering them for free!!

But this totally messes up my plan to order an orange Magic Band that says "Rogue One" on it now. Decisions...

In other news - actually was able to get out to run yesterday after being sick for a week. That was great. Unfortunately, the lungs don't appear to be happy today, but I'm guessing the cold is still hanging around.

"Photos and other digital content captured and sold by ESPN GameDay Photos, Wild Africa Trek photos, or captured as part of runDisney events or by Disney Event Group (including but not limited to Disney Fairy Tale Weddings, group and convention photos and family portrait sessions) or third party operators at Walt Disney World are not included in Memory Maker."

It would actually make sense to me if there was an upcharge for including rD pics. I paid a small fortune to MarathonPhoto over the past few years... they have to figure there's room to charge...
