My daughter and I had a fantastic 10K. She controlled the pacing. Run for a song then walk for a song and so on. We crossed the finish line smiling and laughing.
I'm in the room getting ready to crash for the night. I walked the 5k with my mom and Dd16. Then I very slowly ran the 10k today. I am playing tour guide for my group some of whom are first time Disney visitors. I spent way more time in the parks and on my feet than I should have. Tomorrow is going to be an adventure! Good luck to all the runners.

I'm currently carb-loading with a beer in the ice-cold pool (which I've done multiple times today) to try and get this nagging pain of the tops of my feet to go away.
Revised my goal for tomorrow to take it easy, take ALL the pictures and enjoy my run to 71 Magical Miles so far this year!
10K went well for us as well! My husband finished 10th in his age group and in the top 2% overall! I placed better than I thought I would with my time but I guess that is because Princess has a different set of runners than Star Wars does.
We headed back to EPCOT to ride 2 rides and walk World Showcase. Awesome lunch at Tutto Italia, a visit for french ice cream and out we went back to the room for a nap. Dinner at California Grill was great as well! Perfect protein load for me there!
Back at the room, I got my husband's nails on him for tomorrow. I can't stop giggling about the awesomeness it should be!

Thanks @Keels. Can't wait for tomorrow's run. We both are looking forward to it. We will be starting in the back of corral I. We decided to start at the back of today's Corral and it really was the best decision we made for the run.
Oh and I can't wait to get back to my house so I can run the following picture through my photo editing program to take the crane out again
Does anyone staying at any of the All Star Resorts know what time the spectators should plan on getting on the bus in order to be able to catch the finishers of the half tomorrow?
@nicoleezk Depends on what corral you start in and how fast you run/walk. Check you program for bus times...there comes a point when there is a break. And I would allow at least an hour....wait for bus to come, travel time, walk from bus to finish. Not getting out of bed to look at my guide

That is fantastic! Congrats to you and all the 1/2 Marathon and GSC runners!
I had a decent run. It was better than I thought it was going to be, anyways!
Had a good half today!! Not my best but 16 minutes faster than last year! And, considering I PR'd in yesterday's 10k, I'm pretty pleased with the weekend!
