"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

As a followup to my post above, remember that your "ticket" is really just an electronic record that can be redeemed in various ways--via MB, a card, or in your case, a printout. But if you lose that redemption medium, it's extremely easy to have a replacement medium issued to you, as long as you have a record of the ticket. Back on our second trip before MBs, I actually forgot our tickets, which were purchased from UT. Luckily for me, though, I'd made a copy of the backs of the tickets (per advice here) so had a record of the ticket numbers, which is really all that's important to Disney. Our resort concierge was able to look up and verify our ticket numbers based on the printout and then reissue them to us on hard ticket media (in our case, since we were onsite, a KTTW card).

So worst case scenario is if you get a CM who refuses to issue you an RFID card for whatever reason, politely leave and go to another ticket window and this time tell the CM that you forgot your printout and don't have access to a printer. They'll verify your identity and look up your ticket information in MDE and issue you an RFID card. I think, though, if you explain that you don't have MBs but do want to redeem FP+, then no one will hassle you about issuing an RFID card instead of using the printout. It looks like the poster above didn't ask to have an RFID card issued and just accepted that the FP+s would go unredeemed.

It does seem strange that you couldn't ask for and get hard card tickets...we bought our tickets the morning of the party and they were linked (we had magic bands) and they gave us hard tickets anyway.

I think the answer is no, but want to double check. I will be going to a park earlier in the day before party and have booked FP for that park. I know people who are not visiting a park earlier can book FP based on party ticket, but can I?

Last Friday, the 2nd parade was not crowded at all. We watched it from Main Street.

On Sunday 9/27
We walked into the hub from Frontierland during the start of CTM and found a decent spot, it was crowded but not shoulder to shoulder. (3 adults 2 kids one in small stroller). Stayed for fireworks, then 2 adults moved across the hub and waited for Hocus Pocus show. Again crowded but some breathing room. Then we crossed the street and sat one row back from the curb and had good parade viewing. It was just us 2 adults and packed pretty tight!

Not sure how well these photos show, I was testing camera settings pre parade. (Castle out of view in picture to our right--and they are doing a cauldron shot with adorable little Snow White I think)




Again hard to see but looks 5 ish rows deep to me? And was that way as far down both ways I could see. I do not know for further up Main St or Frontierland.

We were down by the train station so that's where we experienced it not being crowded. We came out from meeting Mickey just as it was approaching and were able to walk to the curb. I imagine areas where people were camped out to see the other entertainment were much more crowded.

I agree, and last year we walked out of Mickey and sat down at the curb and watched the first parade with no crowd at all too. Then caught the second parade on our second party night in Frontierland with no crowds.

I think it just reopened after being down for refurbishment. I would assume there would be a later version of the map for dates that fall after the refurbishment ended. This was probably from one of the first parties.

Ok! Good, I got worried for a second. I just assumed it would be one of the rides running and had it in my plan for during party time, so I wanted to make sure. Thanks

We have a FP+ booked for Pirates for the 4-7 time slot before October 13th party, and I'm pretty sure we're travelling around the same time as your family, so you should be good to go .

yes we were worried until the soft openings reported the end of last week! Just checked my party map, and Pirates was listed as an attraction. The back of the map says it is V2.

We've always been given the hard tickets in the past, too, even though we had MBs. I always thought it was because of the issues they had in the past with the party ticket not being given priority over a regular day admission when going through the entrance, but since those issues now seem to be resolved, it's interesting that they still gave you a card to a linked party ticket. It's always good to have insurance, I guess!

Correct the answer is no to pre book, but if you enter after you've used/expired the first three than you can go up to the kiosk and see what is open to FP until 6:30.

That was version 1 of the map, which is now outdated due to POTC reopening. You should look for version 2.

Both. But I think someone posted above the first two Hocus Pocus shows that night did not go because of the rain earlier.

What time is recommended to get in line for Jack and Sally? Can you eat in line? Where are they meeting at again? I've read so many pages of this and know the info is here, but I can't find it again and DD just told me today she wants to meet Sally. (Ah, kids, gotta love them. LOL)

The started putting up the ropes at 4:30 on 9/27 and there was already at least 20 groups. At 4:15 I was #6. Not sure about the food. Storybook Circus in the back tent past Petes Silly Sideshow.
