"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

Since Jack and Sally were out way before 7pm, I wonder how many non-party people were able to take advantage of a "party exclusive"? Do you think they checked party bands for that M&G? They are a priority for our MNSSHP but if they come out early maybe we could sneak in more characters. I wonder how early the earliest people were in line for them and what time were those people done?
They check wristbands for people entering the line.

How did you find the lines at the Trick or Treat stations to be and how bout on the candy trail b/w barnstormer and space mtn?

The candy trail was awesome and fast....You can only go one way, so that helped traffic flow. All the candy lines moved really quick...they all had 2 bins so that kept them moving.

Given all the reports that the "secret" of watching the parade in FL is out, would it make more sense to actually try to see the 2nd parade on MS? Or will it still just be so packed with people from the castle show, Hallowishes, etc?

Speaking of Hallowishes - how close do you need to be to still see them? I'm assuming you want to be closer for castle show and the parade, but how far away can you see the fireworks? How about the back of the castle?

I'm just hoping, by oct 13th, they still have these (or add them to the parks shop):

My 13 year old daughter is dying for one!

I was just at Downtown Disney tonight, (IT WAS PACKED!!!) and I saw them in the World of Disney Store, near the middle.

I will try to answer for you...... not knowing what night you are going..... if you plan to see the parade only once (I love it so much I watch both showings!) I'd choose the later one. But since they changed the times you may be right in it still being packed from Hallowishes. And with the later one now at 11:15 people may decide to go to that parade so they could be close to the front in order to head out.
I would keep reading this thread for reports of how it's going.
For Hallowishes..... there are so many great places to see it!! Just don't get too close to the castle. And IMHO don't go behind the castle! We always prefer anywhere down Main Street... with a spot near Casey's as our favorite. Be careful if you watch from Frontier Land as there a lots of trees to inhibit the view.

Hi, this year will be our first MNSSHP. Sorry if this is a silly question...we will be at MK that day, probably for the whole day. To get the bags for trick or treating do we have to pick them up at the main entrance? And since we already paid for our MNSSHP tix they should be on our magic bands, right? Should I take the printout with me just in case? Thanks.

Last year we took a print out but did not need it. Places in the park to get bands are by POTC and in Tomorrowland, might be a third place too.

Your MNSSHP tickets should be visible on your MDX account, if so you're fine. Wherever you get your party wristbands should also have treat bags.

Just a quick note for anyone wanting it, we were told by a CM at the party on Friday that they were expecting to get more of the Hocus Pocus shirts from the warehouse. They have no idea when or how many. He told us to just keep checking back. He said to keep our party bands, and if we saw the shirts later we could still buy them if we show our previous party band and explain. No clue how accurate that is, but wanted to pass along. Also, Super Stoked! I went to buy my Zero popcorn bucket and the stand had the Cinderella coach ones too!!!! So I got both. The CM said they just got the coaches back about 3 days ago and they're selling them fast. Wahoo!

I was wondering if anyone has a list of characters and their locations/times that are available to meet during the party? Particular emphasis on the villains. I've heard about a few but am trying to plan out where to go for whom. If anyone could point me to this information, I'd be very appreciative! I did look back through the most recent pages but didn't see this information, so I apologize if this is redundant.

My son just changed his mind for the third time about what he wants to be. If anyone needs a costume for a toddler, I now have a selection at home! He's currently set on being a pirate, which at least means we can dress up too and all be pirates! So now we have to meet Captain Jack Sparrow. Is that typically a long line?

Historically it's been one of the longer ones, but not usually the worst.

Is Mickey in costume at Town Hall? If so, what time does he begin meeting in costume? I have a FP for earlier, and I'm wondering if I need to wait in line during the party for a costume picture.

Is the FP viewing area available to everyone during the party since there are no FPs at that time? How's the viewing from there?

How do you get those things home if you are flying? I have always skipped them because they are so big.
