It can be fun to watch the fireworks from non-traditional locations in the park. My first MNSSHP in 2012 I didn't allow myself enough time to get in front of the castle and wound up watching from Fantasyland beside the carousel. It was actually pretty awesome being in the center of the action. Last trip I was walking from Big Thunder toward Fantasyland during the fireworks. I missed the finale on that one because I desperately had to make use of Rapunzel's facilities!I shall do that I'm calling it quits for the night. We have bags full of candy. I'll figure it out by Friday. I got some shots from the fantasyland to tomorrow land area on my phone that aren't bad of the fireworks.
Put it in Manual mode. Set the ISO to 100. Put the camera on a tripod, use a shutter release... It's pretty easy.
If you need help, go to the photography board, STAT!
They should have limited it to two per guest like they do with the Vera Bradley bags, etc.Oh, it's not a hoarder. It's probably one of those re-sale sites. There's a few that have gained some "fame" recently. One of them got flamed by someone on a different board and their FB page by an upset guest. They always say that they're "within their legal limit". Even if it means they drop a few grand on their "limit" of merchandise.
OK, rookie question. This will be our first MNSSHP and I am online ready to purchase tickets for Sept 27.
One question - the Disney website states:
" Please note: Theme park admission is not included in the event price"
Does that mean that I need to buy Park admission PLUS pay for the "after party"?
We were just planning on staying at the hotel pool till about 5PM then go to the park.
Yes, you will need to purchase two separate tickets, the regular park ticket & the MNSSHP ticket. Keep in mind that you'll only be able to stay in the Magic Kingdom till close to 7pm cause the Party starts at that time. What you can do is purchase a MNSSHP ticket alone because you can get in for the Party as early as 4pm. So if you have the time and energy, you can go on some rides, shopping, etc before the actual party starts then from 7pm till the end of the night, you're enjoying the Party.![]()
Yes, that's what I want to do. Just go to the Party - maybe arrive a little early to jump on a ride or two. Only the MNSSHP ticket is needed right?

That stinks for you guys. Hope you do something else on the 18th that you love.Went to the party tonight. Shocked how busy it was (haven't read posts in a few days). I know it was sold out. Hardly got to do anything. Watched first parade in frontierland. Caught last parade in the middle of town square, 1st row. DH and I were so miserable (just being honest) we went to Guest Services and got refunds for the 9/18 party and 9/18 dessert party. I have absolutely no desire to deal with this again.
So the dessert party is not at tomorrowland terrace, but in the fake grass viewing area?Never mind. Read OP as "Parade viewing area". Too early.![]()
