"Official" 2015 MNSSHP thread

I know there have been a lot of FP questions - sorry if this has been asked already.
We are planning to be at MK all day, including having tickets fro MNSSHP.
Can we book FP for the morning and then again using our party tickets?

no, only one set of 3 FP per day can be booked ahead of time, once you use the 3 you may book more in the park

All all of the attractions open during the Party? We were not able to get a FP to meet Anna and Elsa and I was hoping maybe Fairytale Hall would be open during the party!

Closures are typically HoP, CoP, and Jungle Cruise. Anna and Elsa will likely be meeting, but the lineup has not been revealed yet.

Okay - I thought I came to terms with not going this year but everyone wants to. My kids are so little and we are typically the 10-8pm crowd. They get up and go to bed early. Last year we made it until 10pm but that was pushing it!
Any ideas....advice on how to keep little ones up for this?

They just don't want to do the resort Halloween party.
They said they don't get enough candy there...lol

Aghh I wish my kids had that energy on vacation but since they were tiny babies they always slept 8-10 hrs lol
I was blessed when they would sleep through the night as infants but now at 11,8,5 I was hoping for a late night at WDW but they just cant hang!

Jungle Cruise = Jungle Cruise. HoP might be Hall of Presidents. Not sure what CoP is. I also understand that some of the quick service places will be closed, so it will be difficult to find food.

just got my ticket for the october 29..I know it's gonna be busy..but how bad? was hopping to get anna and elsa FP + for that day..but the party is the first night we arrive so I know it will probably not happen.. my daughter costume is elsa and I was wondering, how bad are the line up to meet them during the party (really hope to get that picture the two together all dress up)

We got tickets for September 22. While we've been to the party in the past, this is the first year I plan to actually dress up! Everyone always seems to have such a good time with that and I would love to get in on the fun! I'm currently running through some ideas, and seeing that I'm a HUGE Star Wars fan, I would love to go that route! I'll have to see what I can come up with!

Just finished reading the last 15 or so pages!
Getting very excited for our trip! In fact, almost as excited about the party as much as our trip

We're planning a Star Wars theme - DD7 is Darth Vader, DD5 is R2D2, DS1 is Yoda, DH is Chewie and I am undecided (it's either Han Solo or Leia). Starting to get things together for the costumes....will post when done

I see that so many people are getting their party tickets now...we're planning for Sunday, September 27. I know that its likely we'll have rain, so I thought I'd wait till a few days before, but should I be buying in advance?

Any suggestions on FPs for party day? We're not going until after 4 pm

I've spent the last two days searching online for costume ideas. I still haven't found anything that I'm thrilled with. All I know is that I want DD, DH, and me to 'go' together. I also know that I do NOT want Frozen. :-D

I'm surprised Jungle Cruise is closed during the party. It's so much fun at night!

Does anything special happen at midnight? We may want to leave a little earlier to miss a little bus traffic (I hope), but not if we'll miss something special.

sounds great! i am don't sew, so that limits my creativity. I'm hoping to find a pumpkin face tee and some striped tights and a tutu, then buy a halloween witch hat at disney.

Hi everyone, I have a party ticket for October 1st! I'm wanting to meet Mickey and Minnie in their Halloween costumes at Town Square Theatre - if I make a fastpass for sometime between 4 - 7, will they already be in their costumes, or will it still be talking/regular Mickey? I would assume they're only in their costumes after 7pm when the party officially starts, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Anyone know what time they get changed?! Thanks in advance.

ETA: I haven't been to the Halloween Party since 2012 (where we met Halloween Mickey and Minnie at Town Square Theatre) - so please correct me if this is no longer where you meet them!

my belle costume came in and looks great! ordered it on ebay from china. my husband didn't like his beast sleeves costume so i returned it. oh well. i am on the hunt for a blue hardcover book and basket to carry.
I am also learning to sew and I am sewing a bunch of disney bounding circle skirts for our trip!
