Guess I can start working on my packing list now.

I had a similar thought the other day and worried I forgot to reserve....something!
Most likely I will have a brain outage and forget to pack my running socks and shoes. Now that would be a nightmare!

I have a plan for that. The only shoes I bring are my running shoes. It makes it hard to forget them.

After my dress rehearsal run this weekend everything went right into the bag I'll be bringing so I don't lose them. Sunglasses, Hat, Hydration belt, Headphones and as soon as they come out of the laundry shirt/shorts/socks into a space bag and sealed shut.

You are light years ahead of me with your packing and planning. I seriously need to remember my Race Dots this time.

I told my wife that we could start packing NEXT Sunday and her look was priceless.
Of course this came a day after we were out with friends and she told them I HAD to go to DL to get our Coast to Coast.
Um.....YEAH. Affirmative. Guilty as Charged. Next subject!

Funny thing is she's doing it too. And her costume is way better than mine. LOL.

Ugh. I like those.

I have no idea if that model of shoe would work for me. I'll have to try a pair locally and see...but since I'm getting a Dooney (and let's face it, plenty of other merch, I'm sure), I probably shouldn't get shoes too.

Nice shoes! Not sure they'd suit me or my wife running, but I like the design a lot compared with the other 2015 releases.

One more reason to be jealous of you Disneyland Half runners!! ;)

I must say...that's $140 I can spend elsewhere since I'm not a NB person. Slightly tempted but more tempted by the Dooneys.

So I only made it 6 miles for my last long run, instead of my 9. My eating and water intake has been abysmal since D23, and I got a major charley horse Saturday night. So needless to say, my legs were not in tip-top shape for my run on Sunday morning. Oh well. So my longest training run for my first half is 8 miles. It will have to do! I can't believe that it is 13 days away!!

I have compression sleeves that have the ice pack pocket in them; I bought them at my first RunDisney expo in 2013! I use them when my legs get too sore or shin splints (like now). They are fantastic. I don't always use them with ice either. They seem to really help though. This is the company http://110playharder.com/ but they are much cheaper on amazon of course.

Don't worry.....hopefully the excitement and energy from the event, the crowds, the sights, the sounds will give you enough momentum to get to the finish line.
