Ugh...new threats today online. I'll be honest, if I was a spectator I wouldn't go. I hope this doesn't distract the athletes who've worked so hard to get there and throw them off their game.

I saw that this morning. The only evidence that he's in Sochi is a picture of his badge and one photo with the hotel-area behind him and someone else in the picture. His blogs are gone. His videos. Everything.

So I get that the Russians will be monitoring their networks. I thought it would be more for watching for terrorists. But now I see it's censorship. But how will they stop those same people from posting those same thoughts and pictures when they get home to America, Canada, Europe, wherever? Are they going to check people's photos to make sure they're all good and they didn't take a picture of the muddy water in their toilet?

I think all these threats are designed to get attention. It would be quite idiotic to launch an attack given the level of security that will be in place. That being said, as a spectator I wouldn't be going either. It must be tough on the families though.

I think all these threats are designed to get attention. It would be quite idiotic to launch an attack given the level of security that will be in place. That being said, as a spectator I wouldn't be going either. It must be tough on the families though.

If you follow the link that was posted, it says URL not found. But then if you click on "home" on his blog, you can see the postings that were erased/taken down have been re-posted in the last hour.

I almost wonder if the terrorists would choose a different target now, like Moscow or something with all of the security and attention on Sochi, maybe other targets are wide open?

Looking at those pics gives you the impression the Games are months away, not two weeks. They don't look anywhere near ready to host something on this magnitude.

The only thing that looks finished is the Main Press Center.
